Chapter Four
I left Galan and Nick, leaving the living room, and working my way to the kitchen. My mind was reeling after all that Galan had told us.
“The Council of Keepers are comprised of pack alphas from all over the world who have taken an oath to forever keep the location of Lycaon hidden from the rest of the world”
I rummaged around a bit, looking for something to eat. I finally settled on an apple, not feeling like putting to much effort into dinner. As I munched, I couldn’t stop thinking about how Galen had also told us that he was part of the council. I frowned; just how much was being hidden from us all? No, I didn’t think that telling people Lycaon was real and a potential threat, at least not yet anyway. The last thing we needed was panicked pack members.
“You need to eat something more substantial than that” Nicks voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back into the kitchen and reality.

I was in the kitchen early the next morning, having tossed and turned all night I decided I might as well just get up. Kian’s hands were warm on my skin as he pulled my shirt off, dipping his head and kissing one breast before moving to the other. I sighed as need surged through me, my hands skimming his bare chest, the shirt having been removed only moments ago. His muscles were taught and firm as he lifted me, sliding my pants ever so slowly off. Before they could it the floor my legs were around his torso, his lips claiming mine once more. Our tongues danced for dominance as Kian lowered me onto the bed. His lips left mine and trailed down my body, caressing and teasing as he made his way down to the very center of my being. My thrummed with desire as his mouth found the sensitive nub, his tongue swirled around sending jolts ecstasy through my limbs. Every part of me felt tight, held on by a thread as he slowly began to suck and tease, dipping first one and then two fingers deep inside. My breathing quickened as I moaned and writhed under his touch, feeling the threads pull apart.

Nick POV: I followed my father and Janet’s back into the kitchen, leaving Katerina’s comfort behind me.
