Sebastian and Max depart at the same time, they often share a ride since they are both going to the same place. Max kisses her mate a goodbye and they share some gooey words. Lucy owns her own bakery at the pack town. It is her childhood dream and Max supports her wholeheartedly.

Sebastian is driving and trying to find a spot from the buzzing parking lot. St. Gregory’s College is the biggest one in their state and there are thousands of students. Sebastian majors business since he hopes to continue his parents legacy in the city and maybe become the CEO after his parents retire. Max majors in astrophysics, it’s what has always fascinated him. They both minor in music, something one would never guess by the looks of them. Two sexy hunks that look like they live in the gym. Being a werewolf has it’s perks.

Sebastian gets out of the car and he takes a look around. There are so many new students.

Some hope always arises within him and Gabriel, his wolf, that maybe their mate is somewhere here. Max is looking at Sebastian and he knows what his childhood best friend is thinking. It breaks his heart to witness the solitary life of his best friend and he once again fears that Sebastian gets his hopes up and ens up broken in the end.

Gabriel begs him to take a good long sniff of the air in hopes to scent something alluring.  Sebastian tries to do so without Max noticing but the future Beta sees it buts looks away like not seeing anything.

Sebastian takes his bag from the back seat and they start to walk towards the main building. There are mostly humans but also a few werewolves, from their pack and some others. There is a truce between the different packs. The Blue Moon pack members discreetly aknowledge their future Alpha and bare their necks subtly. Sebastian nods at them with a polite and tight smile. Max walks beside him.

”So what do you have first?” Max asks.

”Business theories with Professor Johnson” Sebastian replies.

”And you?” He asks from Max.

”A free hour, I’m going to head to the library to catch up with everything for my research plan for my thesis” Max answers.

”So see you at lunch?” Sebastian asks.

”Yep” Max leaves for the library building.

Sebastian tries to find his way to the right lecture hall but the new and overzealous students make it difficult. Sebastian knows that he is often the center of attention of others with his looks and being a bit taller than most of humans. So he is used to being stared at and hearing whispers and suggestions for something he most definitely is not interested in.

A new girl takes a hold of his arm and starts to walk beside him.

”Hey there handsome, if you are feeling lost I can help you find something..pleasurable..” And licks her lips in a suggestive and sultry way.

”No thank you” Sebastian says and plugs his hand sternly away from the girl.

”Let me give you my number just incase..” She continues, but Sebastian is already way ahead of her.

Finally he reaches the correct lecture hall and the door is already open. He looks around and spots a couple of his friends already sitting on the window side of the hall.

”Seb, come here!” Franklin yells smiling at his friend.

Sebastian approaches them with a smile and the boys share fist bumps.

Franklin is a close friend since high school, he is a human but he knows of Sebastian and his pack. They have faced ups and bumps and been there for each other. Franklin is Sebastian’s best human friend.

Then there is Mike, whom they met in College and through Mike they met Peter and Jake. Peter and Jake are werewolves from neighboring pack and Mike is a hybrid from the human city. His mother is a werewolf and his dad a human. He has some werewolf qualities like advanced hearing and he can see in the dark, but he doesn’t have a wolf. He is also a tad more muscular than humans and quite a chick magnet.

”Ready to make the last year epic guys?” Mike grins and makes a little dance on his spot.

Sebastian smiles a real smile. His friends usually help him forget all the stress of his future responsibilities and finding his mate.

And yes, they are all aware of that Sebastian hasn’t found his significant other but only Franklin knows that Sebastian has been saving himself for his mate. That is something Sebastian likes to keep from others since most guys at his age are not saving anything for anyone when it comes to sex and such.

”There is a party at Michael’s this Friday, and we are GOING gentlemen!! Think about all the wet pussies that are waiting for us!” Mike continues his weird dance. The others laugh and high five, but Sebastian pretends to be busy finding his books and sitting down on his seat.

Sebastian hates these parties, he is not much of a drinker because he doesn’t want to loose control because that might end badly. Not that he would easily to get drunk as a werewolf but still. Since there are usually a lot of girls trying to get into his pants and lets not forget that he is still a man with needs.

He most definitely doesn’t want to loose something reserved only for his precious mate on a drunken night at some house party. But still he attends them every time, because there is still that small chance that he might sense his mate.

The one he awaits.
