Nina was taken aback with the place Ezra brought her. When he said he was meeting 'Chris', she assumed he was a friend. But the man's condition told her otherwise. He had one trembling hand on the air, as though he could not risk dropping it down. The hand was swollen and covered in dry blood. She could easily tell that he was in intense pain. He had a horrified look as he stared at Ezra.
