ALEXIA Walking with crutches is a lot harder than it looked, while Mom stayed behind to secure the lock on the door, I attempted to make my way up the stairs, the fear of tripping holding me back. “It’s going to take some time for you to get used to walking with it.” Mom said, coming up behind me to assist.
