When Lia saw me, I could see the shock in her eyes. Her expression froze — disbelief, confusion, and fear all flashing across her face. I didn’t blame her; she probably thought she would never see me again.

Lia. My supposed mate.

The same woman who had rejected me the moment she thought I was an omega.
