Marriage Agreement

The next morning, Elena woke up feeling a heavy weight on her chest. She slowly opened her eyes, Kael's face was the first thing that came into her view.

She was stunned by his face so close that she forgot to breath.

Looking at his sleeping face, her gaze drifted to his tempting lips.

Before she knew, she leaned in, planting a small kiss on his lips.

She was about to leaned back when his gaze flew open. She gasped in shock.

“One more time,” He muttered.

Elena jumped backwards, putting distance between themselves.

“No…I… You… it's not what it seems,” Elena stuttered.

Kael slowly sat up, brushing the hair off his face. “It's exactly as it seems, you took advantage of me while I was sleeping,” Kael said.

Her gaze darkened.

"It is fair I do the same," Kael said reaching for her hand.

Before he could touch her, Elena moved on top of him, pressing her hand on his neck straddling him.

In this position, the bedsheet covering her fell completely leaving her naked on top of him.

"What," She gasped in shock her gaze widening.

"This position seems better," Kael said holding her waist.

"What... What did you do to me?" A Shrill voice came out of her mouth.

"You took advantage of me!" Elena says her voice barely above a whisper.

Kael frowned slightly as he asked "Really? Who tried to seduce me? Who begged for more?"

"Shut up, I don't want to hear anything from you," She said, her grip tightening on his neck.

She was trying to remember how last night went when she felt a bump pushing her thigh.

"What is that?" She asked.

His grin deepened, "What does it feels like? It's hard not to get an erection when you are in this position."

"Perv," She hissed. Pushing him away.

"I like your feisty attitude," Kael said standing up.

He went to the bathroom, when he came out, he had already changed to a black jacket with a turtle-neck inner, paired with a black trousers.

He paused at the door, giving her one last look. "I will be waiting for you downstairs," He added before walking out.

“What the fuck did I just do?” She screamed into the pillow after the door closed.

“He will pay for this humiliation,” she said standing up, but her tigh was sore. She walked awkwardly to the bathroom, rubbing herself vigorously, wiping every part he touched.

After dressing, she was about to leave when something caught her eyes. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she could see a bite mark in her neck.

She touched it gently, feeling a surge of something she couldn't quite explain. Her eyes in the reflection turned red for a split second.

She gasped in shock moving back. It returned to normal almost immediately that she begin questioning if she just had an hallucination.

She stormed out, marching downstairs to confront Kael.

In the living room, Kael was slowly sipping coffee and reading typing something on his laptop.

Elena sat opposite him, crossing her leg. He looked up at her, his former playful face gone without a trace.

"Do he have bipolar?" She thought inwardly. A bit stunned by his cold expression.

"I have a proposal to make for you," Kael said breaking the awkward silence. He gestured with his hand, and James walked closer holding a stack of file.

He placed it at the table.

She raised an eyebrow suspicious. "What is this about?" She asked not reaching for it.

"Open it and find out," Kael said, his gaze narrowed.

She took it, flipping the page. She paused when she read the first line.

Written bold at the top was a marriage agreement.

"What is this?" She asked her gaze revealing a disgusted look.

"What does it look like?" Kael asked taking another sip.

"Are you fucking kidding me right now? Why do you think I will sign this?" She asked tossing it back on the table.

Kael raised an eyebrow. "You sure you don't want to sign?" Kael asked.

"No, I want to get out of this hell hole," She retorted angrily.

"Okay, since you don't want to marry me, don't come begging me," Kael said, his voice laced with something that made her feel uneasy.

"Tonight we are going out. I will come and pick you up by 6pm," Kael said.

"Your dress will be sent to you," He added before leaving with James leaving Elena stunned.

She gritted her teeth in anger knowing that, she would be left alone till he returned.

Meanwhile,

Kael was on his way to the company when he received a call.

"Hey Kael," A male voice said from the phone.

"What do you want Bruce?" Kael asked his gaze turning cold.

"You know what I want," The voice said with a little chuckle.

"Are you that stupid, how many times do you need to be beaten before you quit," Kael snapped, his voice filled with irritation.

Bruce was the alpha to the southern pack. For the past 5 years, he had been challenging Kael for the role of Alpha king.

The match is simple, as the alpha king he has a say in every pack in the werewolves world. But at the same time, he can be challenged by any alpha in a match. If he loose, he must hand over the title to the winner.

Bruce was one of those fanatic, living in delusion.

"Don't worry, this time I got a suprise for you," Bruce said, barely able to contain the cocky smirk on his face.

"Set the date and tell me. I will be waiting," Kael said before hanging up.

He knew Bruce must be up to something, but he wasn't bothered by it. In the face of true power, tricks are futile.

"Alpha Kael, you missed last night meeting in the pack," James said.

Kael massaged his temples, "What are those old hags saying."

"They didn't say anything directly, but they all expressed dissatisfaction,"

"Just arrange a new time," Kael said.

Looking at the marriage agreement beside him, his lips curved into a smile.

"James, I will send you a list of names. Reach out to them, they must be ready tonight. Tell them we are having a party," Kael said.

James raised an eyebrow, looking at Kael through the rear view mirror trying to understand whet Kael meant.

"Okay," James replied.
