'You can use the bathroom to clean up. I will be waiting downstairs,” Kael said, leaving her alone and walking out.

He walked down to the living room where James was already waiting for him.

He sat down rubbing his temples.

“Sir, you brought the woman to your room yesterday. She is dangerous,” James said out of concern.

“Don't meddle with my business,” Kael growled.

“Any news?” He asked, closing his eyes.

“Nothing much, the deal is closed. All that remains now is your final signature,” James said.

“Next 3 days, you have a meeting in the Moon hall,” James added.

“Isn't the next three days the full moon?” Kael asked, his eyes fully open.

“Yes, is something the matter?” James asked.

Kael fell into deep thought, not responding to his question.

“If it is about you not finding your Luna. Most of the pack knows not to bother you about it,” James said.

It's not that I have found her,” Kael said.

“But, there is a problem,” Kael said, sighing.

Meanwhile

Elena just finished bathing. Her hair was still wet.

A silent knock interrupted her.

“Who is it?” Elena asked instantly on guard.

“Miss, we are the maids and are here to help her dress,” A female voice said.

“Ger dressed?” Elena asked.

“Yes Ma'am, may we enter,” The voice asked.

“Yes,” Elena replied.

The door slowly opened, two women in their early twenties walked in wearing maids clothing.

Elena scanned them suspiciously.

“Master ordered us to get you prepared,” One of them said.

“Please follow us,” they said.

Elena could guess that the master they were talking about is that man.

Looking at the robe she was wearing. She agreed.

She followed them, her eyes scanning every corner for her future escape.

But to her shock, all her detailed escape routes were blocked.

She gritted her teeth in frustration, swallowing her anger.

They brought her to a room. It was filled with different women's clothes and accessories.

Elena blinked in surprise. The maids guided her. And in the next moment, she had her dress changed into a red dress with a low v-line neck.

“It's this too much?” She asked.

Just then, her stomach growled. Her cheek flushed red.

“Bsstard, imprisoning me all this time and not giving me food,” She though biting her tongue.

“Master is waiting for you in the dining room,” They notified her.

Elena felt a knot in her chest, she is going to meet him again.

As she came down from the stairs, she saw the mysterious man facing back to her. Beside him was another man.

“She has here,” She heard him whisper as he turned to face her.

His gaze froze on her, his expression unreadable.

Just then, she felt a hostile gaze fixed on her.

The man standing beside the mysterious man, faces her a cold gaze as if to pounce on her any moment.

“Step outside James,” Kael said, giving him a knowing look.

James wanted to say something, but the words died in his throat feeling Kael gaze.

He quickly walked away.

Elena was confused, even though she knew she had a lot of enemies. She didn't remember annoying him. The look he gave her was as if she killed one of his family members.

“Sit,” a cold voice pulled her from her thoughts. She jolts back to consciousness.

Walking to the seat, far from him.

“There is a space beside me,” He said, glancing at the chair.

She didn't respond to him. Instead, she shoved the food into her mouth, devouring it.

His eyes narrowed as he stared at her.

“Sebastian Miller,” Kael said gently, sipping wine from his glass.

Hearing that name, Elena froze. Her eyes shot up to him. Time seems to stop.

“That's his name right?” Kael said, placing the cup back before meeting her gaze.

“How did you know him?” She asked.

“There is no one I want to find out about that I can't. Even you, Elena Miller, or should I say night devil,” Kael said.

Elena looked at him as if she just saw a ghost. Her mouth opened but no words came out. Red devil was the alias she used when she went out on mission, and Elena Miller was her full name. Less that 10 people know about.

“He sent you to kill me right?” Kael said, his voice calm and steady.

“Who the hell are you?” She asked, after recovering.

“How much do you know about yourself!” Kael asked her.

She gave a confused expression.

“You are different from others. Stronger, faster, and sensitive. Do you know why?” Kael asked.

“How do you know?” She asked, getting intrigued.

“Have you ever felt as if there is something inside you,” Kael said.

A creature flashed across her mind as her heart raced. She has never wanted to admit it.

It was something that has traumatized her all her life. Growing up in the orphanage home, she had been tagged as a freak.

It wasn't until her tenth birthday when she was adopted by a mafia leader. Trained to be an assassin.

It was a side of her she referred to as a monster.

Kael paused, giving her a chance for the information to sink in.

“Go on,” Elena said.

“That is because… You are a werewolf,” Kael said.

Elena's heart skipped a bit. Even though she found it hard to believe, all the things he said were true.

“You have grown up without a pack. Integrating yourself and creating your only identity to be a human. Your wolf part is resisting,” Kael said.

“What do you mean?” Elena asked, feeling the familiar sensation. As if her body is being taken over.

“You… are a werewolf. Just like me,” Kael said.

*Crash*The sound of glass shattering echoed in the room. “Where is she?” A deep voice asked coldly. In the dark room, a man in his mid fifties sat on a chair, a cigar dangling on his lips. His gaze was sharp and piercing. “She hasn't come back since she went on the mission master Grey,” A shaky voice of a young man responded. Sebastian Miller, who is the head of the red light district, an underground assassination empire and the adoptive father of Elena. His gaze froze and the next instantly replaced by rage. “What happened to her?” Sebastian demanded. “We don't know, we have tried to reach her,” The man said. “It's been more than a day, this isn't normal Steven,” He said a thought creeping into his heart. He was the one that sent her on the mission himself. He knew how dangerous the man was. If Elena hasn't returned, it only means one thing. She has been captured. “I will mobilize everyone. We will get her back,” Steven said, already heading to the door. Sebastian had a
