Chapter 10

* Dorian's POV *

The door suddenly pushed open and we all turned to the door.

Ashina walked in with a straight face. She stood right before me and I raised my brows.

She dropped a jar on my lap and then moved away from me.

" That's the cure, it's guaranteed that it will work. You can use it for the family, I'm only doing this since this is anyways my home. You don't have to worry about giving anything in return " She said and then walked out of my lounge, giving no room for replies.

Caddel and Kaden turned to me at once and I raised my brows. " What? "

" She's mad at you, " They both said at the same time as they planned it.

" I know," I said with a light chuckle.

" So, do you think this is the right cure? "

" What's in there anyways? " Kaden also asked.

" I think it's a potion," I said as I examined the jar.

" Get me the Royal Doctor to check it out," I said to Conri and he bowed before leaving to get the Royal Doctor.

" I hope it works " Caddel muttered hopefully.

" This is the cure, it is a very potent potion," He said and I sighed in relief.

" Thanks for your service, you may leave, " I said and he bowed lighting before excusing us.

I turned to Caddel and Kaden at the same time. " Let's head to the family's home immediately," I said and they nodded.

** Later That Evening **

I heard a knock at my room's door and without seeing who it is, I could identify her by her scent.

" I'm busy Ashina " I replied, still going through the scroll in my hands and without raising my head.

The door clicked opened and I sighed. " You don't listen, do you? " I asked, still not looking up.

" Yeah " She muttered and then sat on my bed.

I finally looked up to see her staring directly at me. " You have anything to say to me? " I asked. She scoffed lightly and then looked away for a while before turning to me.

" I always have a thing to say, Lord Dorian " She teased and I chuckled lightly before dropping the scroll in my hands.

I stood up and walked over to her and she also stood.

In sync, our lips entangled against each other, I pull her closer to me, sucking deeply and roughly on her lips and she was reciprocating in the same rough manner.

Her hands found their way around my neck and I lifted her, positioning her legs on my waist, still not breaking away from the kiss.

My hands found their way to her butts and I massaged them slowly and softly causing her to release a short moan.

My lips still on hers, I carried her over to my desk and placing her on it, we kept on sucking deeply and fastly on each other's lips until a knock came by at the door at once, making me a bit on her lips slowly and she released again a soft moan.

I pulled away slowly and then pecked her nose lightly. " Who's it? " I asked.

" Conri, Your Highness " He replied from outside the door.

" Is anything the matter? " I asked.

" The elders are present for the meeting, " He said and I turned my face back to Ashina and she pressed her lips shortly on mine.

" They can wait, right? " She asked, staring at me lustfully and running her hands on my face.

I grabbed her hands softly and then pulled them down. " Wait for me here, I will be back soon," I said with a wink and then kissed her shortly before putting on a shirt, I had pants on already.

Decided to dress in a modern way today.

I walked out to meet Conri and he seemed a little bit surprised to see me dressed the modern way but he bowed anyways and then led the way.

I heaved a little sigh as I dismissed the meeting and was on my way out of the hall with Conri behind me until Caddel and Kaden superspeed to my front at once, making me stop at once, and seeing them breathing heavily made me wonder what was wrong.

" Something's wrong " Caddel broke me out of my thoughts.

" Oh, shit " I cursed frustratedly as I stared at the almost lifeless bodies before me.

I turned to Caddel and Kaden at once. " What the hell happened here!? " I yelled frustratedly.

" We seriously don't know. We just met them like this " He also replied worriedly.

" Oh Gawd" I muttered worriedly and then scooped down.

I turned to the little boy also lying lifelessly beside his parents.

" Hey.. hey.. are you okay?" I tapped him softly but he only stared on, unable to say a word or even move a finger.

I shut my eyes frustratedly and then turned to Caddel.

" They're gonna die, we have to do something! Get the Royal Doctor! " I yelled frustratedly.

" Conri has gone to do that " Caddel stepped some inches away from me as he said those words and Kaden did so too.

I won't blame them. I become violent during situations like this. The death of any of my people is always painful to me, especially when it happened on my watch and I was helpless and couldn't do a thing.

The Royal Doctor rushed in at once and I gave him space to examine the family one by one. ( The father, mother, and their little kid )

" This is not a result of that potion, is it? If it is. " I inhaled sharply and at the same time, hoping it isn't.

" Ashina wouldn't try to do this to them Dorian, and why would she? " Caddel said softly.

" Yeah I know, but. Oh, oOh sighed frustratedly again.

" Your Highness, I saw Luna Daciana's guard on my way here, " Conri said silently beside us and I turned to him at once.
