Chapter 10: Declaration

(Zavier's Point of View)

When Luna landed in the middle of the battle, the werewolves hesitated for a moment, providing Zavier and I with a moment to collect our breath and regroup. As Luna surveyed the other members of the pack, her own group followed closely behind her.

The alpha scoffed at the newcomer, asking, "What are you doing here?" "This should not even be a consideration for you."

Luna advanced, her gaze never departing that of the pack leader as she did so. When one of my pack members is in danger, it becomes my problem," she said with a tone that was icy and calculating. Now is the time to leave before matters get worse.

The alpha dog growled, his pupils narrowing in concentration. But there was something about Luna's tone that seemed to make him rethink his decision. He barked a directive to his pack, and they turned around and slowly retreated, vanishing into the darkness.
