I make my way to my couch and I go through her file. She is a straight A student taking advanced classes since the seventh grade. I wonder why she hasn’t graduated early. She must have the credits to do so at this point. All her school pictures are here. She starts off with bright eyes that appear happy and full of life, but over time her smile has faded and the brightness is gone from her eyes. I can see her sadness in her eyes from her last picture.

There really isn’t much more than that so I toss the file on the coffee table and make my way to the bathroom. I need to get to bed. I can’t believe I’m going to the dumb bonfire where the boys get drunk and the girls get slutty.
