B2— CHAPTER 31—PICK

With a heart that trembled in anticipation, Celeste hopped off the bed and walked out of the room. She headed downstairs, finding Liam on the couch in the living room. Unlike every other time, the TV wasn't on and he sat patiently as though he was waiting for somebody.

He looked up at her, handing her his fisted hand. "I see you've finally came down...Zillon left me an order again..."

"W...what did he say?"

"He told me to give you this and this." He offered her his other hand, both fisted. "He said you'll have to choose...now."

Reluctantly, Celeste stretched out her arm and Liam laid what he had in both of his hands in her palm. She looked down at them, finding a key and a bracelet just like the one she had bought for him.

It was just a tad bit different, there were no blue diamonds, instead they were a pretty pink.
