It was silent while we were sitting by the breakfast table. My mom made bacon, pancakes, and eggs. I was hungry so I went for seconds after I finished my second plate and once Wolfe and I were finished, I figured we could leave now. There wasn't much to do here and honestly, I didn't see the point in having breakfast with my mom and her new boyfriend, if nobody ever said anything. Probably because she couldn't utter a word without saying something homophobic. I'm gay, when was that such a huge shocker?

We all heard it when the doorbell rang and my mother was the one who wanted to go and check. "That must be Moira, looking for some scoop! Don't worry I'll tell her off!"
