20. I have to mark you

Third Person POV

Zion was pacing the room and it was starting to give Emily a headache. She felt bad for him and the situation he found himself in but there was nothing she could do to help him. She had to sit still and watch as her son and his mate suffered.

“Calm down Zion. Nothing would come from pacing like this. Go and explain to her and see what she would say about it. Your concerns are valid” Emily advised and Zion paused his pacing to stare at him mom with serious eyes

“Ma, you know what she would say. She would never allow it” he was frustrated and pissed.

He had to travel miles away from his pack to another small pack who urgently needed his help. This was a request he could not turn down as it was the duty of much larger packs like his own to help smaller packs whenever they faced any difficulty.

The problem was that he could not leave his mate unmarked. The thought of it made him tense with worry. His body and wolf would simply not allow it and now he had to tell Geneva
