"Hi, uh- I'm Tony. Dillon here's my best friend and his ma wants me to stick with him. She and his pops are on their way to the hospital," Tony explained amicably as Sandra looked up from her laptop.
"Ok, that's cool- I just ask that you stay seated and on that side during the ride."

Once Sandra and the driver had lifted Dillon down off the ambulance on the stretcher, Tony hopped off and followed them into the hospital with their things. It was a pretty quick affair to get him set up and into a room. Thankfully, the ER didn't look busy in the least. The flow of the whole trip was much smoother once they hit the road again. The two of them laughed and carried on to Avenged Sevenfold and Led Zeppelin in the background. They had been on the Atlantic City Expressway for some time, almost an hour, before they realized they had both forgone a proper breakfast. As much as they had discussed that once on the road, they wouldn't make unnecessary stops, they stopped at the first rest stop they happened upon.
