I wondered what he had to say. But then I had to tell him about my pregnancy first.

"I have something to tell you," I began hesitantly, my voice in a whisper. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the folded test results from the doctor. Unfolding them carefully, I placed them on the table between us.

Aaron's gaze shifted from my face to the document, and his expression didn’t change."You're pregnant yeah?”

I crinkled my brows.”How come you are not surprised or happy?”

“Why should I be when you let my bastard brother know before me.” He said,his voice with an edge.

"Never mind how I found out," he interrupted, a note of frustration in his voice. "The point is, I asked you about it, and you lied. You said you weren't pregnant."
