"Leah, let's-"

Her eyes widened as Leah walked into her body.

"Sorry," her voice trembled and so did the rest of her body but her breakdown was nothing compared to Sarah's shock.

"Sorry," she whispered again and stepped back from her.

Sarah's gaze fell on her crying face that her heart squeezed before her eyes dropped to the broken knife in her trembling hands.

Silver.

Her body burned from inside out and she placed a hand over the wound.

Eh. This… couldn't be… happening. She.. Didn't mean it.

Leah would never do that to her.

Placing a hand over the wound and watching her mate tremble and shake like a scared child, she swallowed loudly and took a step closer but Leah responded with a two steps backward, her frantic eyes falling on Sarah like she was suddenly a prey.
