"Faith, we need to leave now," Devlin said, tapping her on the shoulder.

She looked up and blinked as though coming out of a trance. It'd been fascinating to watch her reading. He'd actually just stay there for a few minutes watching her.

He loved to see her small smiles when she read something she liked, light chuckles when she read something funny and her frowns when she didn't like something.

He supposed it was like being in another world. She read fast too. She'd already gotten almost halfway through the book in the thirty minutes they'd spent there.

"It's time to go?" She repeated.

"Yes."

A frown marred her pretty face. "I'm not done with the book yet. I guess they don't sell their books."

"No, it's only for reading. But don't worry, I always searched for the name online. I've ordered a copy. I'll be delivered to the hotel today."

She blinked. Appreciation welled up on her face then she seemed to remember something and it disappeared in a flash. "Thank you," she said anyway and
