Aria's POV

The moment I opened the door to the villa, Kane shoved me inside without a word.

Caught off guard, I stumbled and fell hard to the floor.

My knees hit the tiles with a painful crack, sending a jolt through my whole body.

I tried to push myself up, wincing, only to freeze when I looked up and met the cold, dead expression on his face.

"What the hell is that look?" he snapped, eyes full of scorn.

"I didn't betray you," I said quietly, biting down on my lip. I was clinging to a last shred of hope—hoping he'd believe me, hoping he'd let me explain.

But I didn't even get the chance.

"Shut up!" he roared.

A crystal glass shattered against the floor. Shards scattered everywhere.

I felt a sharp sting on my leg. Warmth trickled down my skin. Blood.

Still, I said nothing. I curled my fingers into the hem of my dress, holding on for dear life.

Even though I was shaking, even thou

Before I could ask what happened, a sharp slap cracked across my cheek.Smack.My ears rang. For a moment, my whole world went silent.I lifted my head, eyes welling with tears, rage and humiliation crashing over me like a tidal wave.Gabriella stood before me, her expression smug and cruel. Her eyes held the glint of a predator watching its prey squirm. She sneered. "How does it feel to be a traitor?"My stomach dropped. So

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   2 VS 1

Chad's POVI ended the call with Aria, took a deep breath, and forced my emotions back down before striding into the office. My supervisor sat behind his desk, casually sipping coffee.I placed the customs seizure file squarely in front of him and said calmly but firmly, "I believe it's time we conduct a full investigation into them."He glanced at the folder, his expression unreadable. "You mean... a full audit on ATTA?""Yes,"I said, meeting his eyes without flinching. "Their taxes, invoices, funding sources—every single project. I want eyes on everything."He chuckled softly and set down his cup, giving me a look that was part amusement, part warning. "That's quite the declaration."I didn't respond. I didn't need to. I nodded once, letting the silence speak for itself. He sighed. "Chad, you're still too young. If you've got a grudge against ATTA, a little jab would've sufficed. But do you have any idea what you'

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   He Still Hasn't Given Up?

Aria's POVWhen I opened my eyes, the pain in my lower abdomen had eased a little. That's when I realized Kane's hand was still resting there. The moment he pulled away, I let out a soft whimper and instinctively wrapped my arms around his waist like a child clinging to warmth.Surprisingly, he didn't push me away.Just like that, I drifted back to sleep. The next time I woke up, the room was filled with the delicious aroma of food.I wandered out of the bedroom to find Kane already at the table, cutting into a thick, juicy steak with effortless elegance. The soft clink of silverware filled the space, and just looking at the meal made my stomach grumble shamelessly."Is there some for me...?" I padded over barefoot, eyes fixed longingly on his plate.Without looking up, he slid the perfectly cut slices onto the empty plate in front of me. "Go wash up."When I came back, he handed me a glass of warm milk.I sipped it slowly, sneaking glances at his profile. There was something softer a

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   Vacation

Aria's POVThe next morning, I left the house with Kane, settling into the leather passenger seat of his sleek black Porsche 911.The early sunlight poured in through the windshield, warm and golden, brushing over his sharp profile and my uplifted mood. When we weren't fighting, we really did feel like a normal couple in love. But even as I found myself falling for him more each day, a quiet insecurity lingered in the pit of my stomach.I was scared of his sudden mood swings, scared he might vanish without warning.Scared that this fragile peace we had built was just a dream—beautiful, but bound to fade.Just as we drove out of the villa complex, I spotted Eden's convertible parked by the gate. He blew us a cheeky whistle, his usual grin in place, and in the passenger seat sat a curvy woman with sharp cheekbones and long legs.Of course. Eden was never alone for long. Women flocked to him, and he never turned them away.We raced down the highway, engines roaring as the two cars took

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   The Apology Gift

Aria's POVAfternoon tea with Caleb ended earlier than expected. When I got home, I did something completely irrational—I sent the chef home early and decided to cook dinner myself. For Kane.Braised beef in red wine. Pan-seared sea bass. And a lemon tart—something he'd casually mentioned craving just a few days ago.I was losing my mind.I curled up on the sofa, absentmindedly twirling the tassel of a throw pillow between my fingers. The antique clock on the wall ticked steadily.7:40 p.m.—he should've been home by now.Should I call?My finger hovered over his name in my contacts, then pulled back.Just then, the electronic lock at the front door chimed, followed by the sound of voices—his voice, and someone else's, unfamiliar and laughing.I shot to my feet like a spring released, bolting barefoot toward the door. The cold wood floor stung against my soles, but I barely noticed."Kane, I need to talk to you about that contract—"The moment the door opened, time froze.Kane stood th
