Jack started the engine but before the car moved, tons of guards already surrounded them and pointed their guns at them which made them gasp loudly.

Margaux’s breath hitched as her eyes widened as she watched those soldiers outside the window. Suddenly, she felt like a criminal who got caught escaping.

“What the hell are you doing, Liana?!” Daisy scowled as she opened the window on her side, “Do you know that this is illegal?” she hissed.

Liana on the other hand ignored Daisy and started knocking the window at the backseat instead. “We will stay here until you get out of that car, Margaux,” she warned.

She was confused as to what the woman really wanted from her. It was already clear that she would no longer tolerate her and would never hesitate to punish her if she went overboard once again.
