Elizabeth’s Point of View:

I raised my head slowly to face him, my heart flipping at his words, somehow I believed his words were sincere, but I also didn't want anything to do with him.

So I did the only thing could do at that moment, I changed the topic.

“What money were you talking about with Victor? Do you know that the bastard didn’t give me a dime?” I blurted out.

It was a terrible attempt, and I knew it. I bit my lower lip, hoping—maybe it would work.

“I figured,” Richard said, brushing it off. Then, quieter, in a more serious tone, he said, “Don’t change the topic, Elizabeth.”

But I ignored him and pushed through. “The way he went on about saving my dying sister, if it was left to that bastard—”

I stopped mid-sentence.

Richard’s face had changed. His body stiffened, his eyes suddenly looked like he was in pain.

That teasing spark he always wore was gone.

“Please, Elizabeth,” he said, his voice lower, pleading. “Can we just talk about us for a minute?”

  • The Billionaire's Deal    Chapter 93

Elizabeth's point view;At first, we went to S.Tech, where Richard was supposed to have a meeting with the unit head by 9 p.m. By the time we got there, it was minutes to 10 and everyone was already settled in the meeting room.“I’ll just wait for you in the office,” I whispered, already making my way out of there.“No,” Richard said flatly, pulling me gently by the waist. “You’re staying right by my side.”He leaned in like he was about to kiss me, and I practically bolted.“Richard!” I hissed, eyes darting around. The room was on the first floor and there were offices just beside it—anyone could see us.“You promised you’d be professional!”“I made no such promise,” he said, smirking.I groaned. “Just go already. You’re late.”“Yes, boss,” he sighed. “But you’re coming in too,” he demanded firmly.“On one condition: I’m not sitting anywhere near you,” I stated.Richard chuckled under his breath. “Deal,” he muttered. We walked in together. The moment the team noticed Richard, they st

Elizabeth's point of view:Five days later:“Hm,” Richard breathed into my ear as I struggled to pull up the zipper he kept dragging down.“Can you please stop?” I said, swatting his hand. “We’re late.”He didn’t budge. Instead, he zipped the dress back down and slipped his hands inside, wrapping his arms around my bare stomach.“Are you sure we can’t just ignore the meeting and stay here?” he whispered, placing slow kisses along my neck.I rolled my eyes, trying not to melt again. “No... stop it,” I said, wriggling out of his grip.He reached for me again, fingers brushing my waist, but I ducked away and finally got the zipper up before he could change my mind again.“You have a meeting at nine, Richard. It’s already 8:45. We’re leaving now.”“You’re too strict,” he muttered, flopping back on the bed dramatically.I stared at him through the mirror, adjusting my hair, trying not to smile.Ever since we started sleeping together, Richard had become... insatiable. Every time we were al

Elizabeth's Point of View:"What are you doing?" I gasped, but before I could finish the sentence, Richard had already flipped me, and I was suddenly on my back, while he towered over me.He lifted his head, his gaze locked on mine, and for a moment, I lost myself. The warmth of his skin against mine, the weight of his body, the bulge I could feel pressing into me—my mind had already pictured what he wanted to do. And I wasn’t sure I was going to stop him."You are perfect, Elizabeth,” he whispered, his eyes tracing my body like I was an island he was about to discover sending another wave of chills through me.Before I could speak, his lips crashed into mine.It was deep. Desperate.I froze at first, shocked by how much I felt in just one kiss. Then his tongue touched mine—and something inside me caved. I kissed him back like I needed him. There was something about it—something different from every kiss we’d had before. I moaned softly into his mouth and as we kissed his hands mov

Elizabeth’s Point of View:“I know you got triggered when she mentioned Laura, but you shouldn’t have spoken to your mum like that,” I said to Richard once we were alone in the elevator.“Especially not in front of all those people,” I added as the elevator doors opened revealing Richard’s private floor.Apparently, the house had five floors, including an underground basement. The basement alone was a whole world of its own—with a gym, a cinema, an indoor tennis and basketball court, and a game room. The first floor—the entrance floor—had over four living rooms, a guest lounge, a waiting area, and a grand dining space. There was also an indoor spa and an indoor pool too.The second floor held the main kitchen, a large dining area, two pantries, and a beautiful, glass-walled library that stretched from one end of the floor to the other. The third floor was what Richard called “the guest wing”—with thirteen ensuite bedrooms, each with its own sitting area and mini lounge. But the top f

Elizabeth's point of view:My eyes darted between Richard and Jessica, both of them staring at me with pleading eyes.“Oh, please, sis,” Jessica added with those big pleading eyes of hers.I shook my head, feeling trapped. “I can’t. I really can’t…” I sighed, running a hand through my hair. “Richard knows… the last time I was at the house, it didn’t go well.”I hoped that excuse would be enough to end the conversation, but Richard didn’t even flinch.“It’s not the same house,” he said quickly. “And even if it was, we’re not going back to that. Let the past be the past. Please, let’s start over.”I stared at him, his eyes wide, and before I could respond, he gave me that annoying smirk—the one that made me want to slap and kiss him at the same time.“You know what the doctors advised,” he added. I stared at him, brows furrowed, as he casually placed a hand on his chest. “We do what is best for the heart. And right now… having you by my side is very good for my heart.”I blushed instant

As soon as they let go of me, I rushed to Richard.“Sit down,” I whispered, holding him gently, guiding him back onto the bed.He sat back on the bed breathing heavy.“What is this?” Sylvia asked Beatrice, a hint of disbelief in her voice. “Why are you defending this witch?”"I’m not defending anyone. I’m doing what’s best for Richard.” Beatrice explains stepping further into the room.“And if you care about him as much as you say you do, you’d let Elizabeth stay. She’s clearly the only one he wants… and her presence clearly makes him better. Let her stay for now, untill he gets better”Sylvia narrowed her eyes with disbelieve as she stared at her, then her gaze shifted to me and Richard. The monitor beside him was quiet now, his heart rate steady. “Does having her by his side really make him better?” she muttered, more to herself than anyone else. But the matron answered anyway.“Yes.”Sylvia said nothing more. She didn’t look at me again. She just turned slowly and walked out. That
