Chapter Thirteen

 Annie finds out that Carrie and Brenda live in the same neighborhood as she and Genny so on the morning of the next day, Brenda and Carrie come to Annie's house and meet her having breakfast. Annie's father, Bruce Porter was the one who welcomed them in. 

 "Look at her still eating like a princess, do you realize you have to go to school?", Carrie queries and Annie laughs. 

 "Don't go all elder sister on me, I'm an only child. Besides, A girl has the right to eat.", Annie argues and they laugh including her father. 

 "I'll be upstairs sweetheart", Bruce says and leaves them alone. 

 "You really are a daddy's girl", Brenda teases. 

 Annie soon finishes eating and after informing her father, heads out with Brenda and Carrie. They walk ahead and meet Genny on her way to Annie's house.
