Mandy nervously rang the bell and as soon as the door opened,
“Surprise!!!”
Mandy was extremely perplexed when she saw all of her friends. Aside from Charm, Bel, Kat, and Rose were also there. “What’s going on?”
She only realized what was happening when happily Charm pulled her inside the room and saw the decorations.
Her friends prepared a surprise bridal shower for her!
“Charm, you silly girl! Do you know how worried I was when you called me?”
Mandy was about to pinch Charm on her waist but she ran away from her, laughing.
Everyone in the room giggled.
Mandy’s friends prepared some naughty games to enjoy the night. The room was filled with waves of laughter and screams as they played especially when Mandy started opening the gifts one by one. They gave her seductive lingerie and undies that made Mandy’s face flushed.
Then, Charm announced that before the final game there would be a big surprise.
“Hey, hey! I hope you guys did not invite a male performer.” Mandy uttered anxiously since she knows her friends well.
“What kind of bridal shower is this if we don’t even have a guest?” Said Bel as she played a piece of sexy music.
Thereafter, the door in the room opened and a man wearing a mask, with a sexy undershirt came out dancing to the music while holding two bottles of red wine.
“Aww!” The girls giggled and yelled when they saw the man pour the wine on his body.
The man continued walking around them slowly swaying his body.
Then, he picked up a wine glass and handed it to Mandy.
“Come on, Mandy.” Charm said when she saw that Mandy was hesitant to hold the glass.
Mandy reluctantly held the glass without looking at the body of the man in front of her.
Afterward, the man poured the wine in her glass and poured another glass, one after another, and passed it to each of her friends.
“Go, Mandy! Go, Mandy!” Her friends cheered at her to drink the red wine first.
“Mandy, don’t spoil the night. It’s your party after all.” Kat convinced her to drink.
However, as soon as she tried to drink, she spat out the red wine to the man in front. She did not expect that the taste of the red wine was so strong compared to what she tried before.
“Oops! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.” Mandy apologized instantly.
All of her friends laughed when they saw the expression of the man whose ears turned red.
“Alright, let’s cheers to Mandy’s happily ever after,” Rose said aloud. Then, they clinked their glasses.
Afterward, they continued playing games. This time the game was ‘Truth or Dare’.
Charm was in-charged to spin the bottle. They were all laughing out loud as all of them chose ‘dare’. They thought that choosing the truth was a little boring.
It was now Mandy’s turn.
“Truth or dare?” Charm asked.
“Dare!” Mandy chose dare as well.
Everyone happily yelled at her.
“Guys, wait! What do you think is the best dare for the bride to be?” Kat asked.
“Hmm.. don’t be such a killjoy.” Charm grinned.
“Alright, tell me and I would dare to do it.” Mandy emphasized the word ‘dare’. She believed that her friends won’t let her do something foolish.
Everyone felt more excited as they thought carefully about what they would order Mandy to do.
Mandy felt uneasy all of a sudden when she noticed the excitement of her friends.
Then, Charm looked meaningfully at the male performer who just came out of the bathroom after taking a shower. She was aware that Mandy does not want to get married. An idea flashed into her mind.
“Alright, guys. I have a bright idea.” Everyone listened to Charm.
She continued, “Mandy since this is our final game. We will have a twist. You will spend the rest of the night here with this man. Then tomorrow morning, we will inform your groom about it. What do you think?”
Mandy’s eyes glowed. She thought that Andrew might cancel the wedding when he learned that she spent the whole night with another man.
“Charm, I can’t believe that you’re actually smart sometimes.” She suddenly felt enthusiastic when she imagined how mad Andrew would be.
Mandy glanced at the man who was still wearing his mask.
He looked harmless so she thought that he would not do anything bad to her.
While the man was silently listening to their plan.
“Okay, since it’s getting late already, we’ll go home now. Just call me if you need anything. Man, take care of our bride-to-be.” Charm said as she winked to the male performer and prepared to leave.
After a while, Mandy was left alone with the male performer.
“What is your name?” She asked the man casually.
“Brian.” He replied promptly.
Mandy paused for a moment. She thought that his voice sounded familiar but she did not pay so much attention to it.
“Alright, Brian I’m sleepy already. I will sleep in the room and you will sleep here.” Mandy was about to turn around when the man grabbed her arm.
Mandy was startled. She looked up to the man a little frightened. Then, the man removed his mask.
“S-Simon?” Mandy was stunned. She could not believe that the male performer was the one she dated before, Simon Brian Shaw, Charm’s 24-year-old cousin.
Of all the men she dated, Simon was the only one who’s very gentle, understanding, smart, and with a sense of humor. Somehow, they became friends because of Charm.
“Mandy, are you really getting married?” Simon asked seriously.
Mandy just nodded her head in affirmation. Then, sat down.
“I thought you don’t want a deeper relationship? How come that you are now getting married? Did you finally fall in love?” Simon sat down on the couch as well, opposite Mandy.
“No, Simon. It’s a long story, it’s hard to explain.”
“So, you’re just forced to marry the man?” Simon really wanted to know the reason.
“Not really. Anyway, I’m sleepy already.” Mandy tried to avoid the topic and got up.
However, Simon quickly grabbed her and wrapped his arms around her.
"Let's get back together, Mandy," Andrew mumbled as he stared down at Mandy. Mandy smirked as she removed Andrew's arms from her waist. "I already told you that I don't want to get back to you." "Don't you want to give our son a complete family?" Andrew asked. "Don't use my son for your personal interest, Mr. Bradford." Mandy retorted. Andrew's brows creased. "It's not for my personal interest." Mandy c
After breakfast, Apollo excitedly waited for his dad on the veranda. He was seated on the steel chair, looking at the gate from time to time. However, it's been thirty minutes already, but Andrew hadn't arrived. "Mom, why isn't daddy coming yet?" Apollo asked his mom with gloomy eyes. He was thinking if his dad was really not coming. Mandy crouched before her son and held both of his shoulders. "He's on the way already, sweetheart." She mumbled and gave him an assuring smile even though deep inside, she was disappointed with Andrew. It's the first time that he would meet his son, but he's late.
"NO!" Mandy hardly denied it. She hated Andrew to the core. She would not let him know that Apollo was his son. Suddenly, Lucas Cruise came and greeted Andrew. "Mr. Bradford, I'm pleased to see you here." Andrew shook hands with Mr. Cruise. "Mr. Cruise, I was glad to finally meet you." He uttered with a warm smile. Lucas Cruise and Andrew have ongoing communication. He secretly called Andrew when he learned that another group of men defended Mandy from the attack during her stay in the Philippines. He was certain that it was him. Although they hadn'
Two weeks later. The preparation for the development of Amanda Island started. Mr. Brown couldn't accept that Mandy would be the top investor for the project. Thus he doubled his investment after the Investor Dinner Party. "Mr. Brown, what do you think of the blueprints?" Andrew asked after their first collaboration meeting. According to the drawings, they planned to build loft garden villas for the guests who wanted privacy, like newly-wed couples to spend their honeymoons. There would also be a two-story hotel to accommodate exclusive guests for mini gatherings, team buildings, weddings, and the like. "It's great! I believe this island will be famous worldwide." Mr. Brown responded enthusias
Mandy was so anxious while waiting for the doctor to come out of the operating room. Marco lost a lot of blood and needed immediate surgery as the bullet hit his spine. After a while, Andrew arrived and immediately looked for Mandy. After he learned what happened earlier, he rushed to the hospital. He was so worried about Mandy. "Thank God you're fine," Andrew mumbled as he hugged Mandy. Mandy pushed him. "Do I look fine? Marco is in the operating room because of me." She muttered as tears welled up in her eyes. She was blaming herself for what happened. If she insisted not to proceed with their itinerary that day, it would not happen to Marco.
“No!” Mandy screamed as she opened her eyes and found that she was in her room. Her body had soaked with her own sweat. She sighed. She’s thankful that it’s only a nightmare. However, she couldn’t go back to sleep. She checked the time. It's two in the morning. She felt thirsty, so she got up from the bed and went to the kitchen to drink.Since it's too early, she went back to her room and tried to get more sleep, but her heart was still beating so fast. Hence, she tried to calm down using the breathing app on her phone. After ten minutes, she closed her eyes again as she started to feel sleepy again.Just a few minutes later, she
