He Has A Way

Blake sat alone on the sofa at the side. His slender legs naturally crossed each other, and his handsome face was hidden in the darkness, giving off a strange oppressive feeling, as if this man was born to be a king.

The phone on the table suddenly buzzed, and the screen lit up with the name 'Angie’.

A trace of impatience appeared between his brows. The next moment, he grabbed the phone from the table and threw it into the goblet, letting out a crisp clink. He narrowed his eyes and watched as the red wine flooded the phone, gradually turning the glossy screen into darkness.

"You accompanied Angie for three years, and she finally started to force a marriage? You're not really going to get a divorce for her, are you? Your father-in-law is not someone to be trifled with.” At the side, Trevor spoke in a teasing tone.

"Don't worry about me, just mind yourself first. Hurry up and deal with Feliz’s matters, don't give me any trouble." Blake’s clear and low voice was filled with a domineering aura that would not allow anyone to reject it. Flames of light flickered between his two fingers, and the look in his eyes as he stared at the tips of his fingers was so profound that it was terrifying.

Trevor casually shrugged his shoulders with a look of nonchalance.

In their circle, Trevor was the most unruly person. He never took women's or his feelings seriously.

Trevor took another sip of his wine, and said with a cheeky smile, "Actually, Feliz didn't go to bed with me just to anger you, she has a really hot body, do you really not want to play?"

Blake lay lazily on the sofa, frowning as he smoked. He did not want to continue this topic.

Trevor laughed at himself for a while, and then his gaze suddenly stopped at the entrance of the pub, where he was being pestered by a drunk man.

At this time, Blake squinted his phoenix eyes, his gaze landing on her.

"Go away!" Avery impatiently shouted, but the man's perverted hands still grabbed her. She then pressed down on his wrist, and with a skillful tug, a cracking sound could be heard, followed by the miserable shrieks of a man.

When Avery was studying in the medical academy, she had treated the human body model as a toy; today, she fearlessly crashed it.

"Oh, I really didn't expect your wife to have such a trick up her sleeve. You haven't been defeated by her, have you?" Trevor laughed as he watched a good show.

Blake stared at him coldly, then asked again, "Who is that man?"

"The second son of the Ruiz Family in the west of the city, Dominic Ruiz, is a carefree young master,” Trevor replied with a sarcastic tone.

Blake replied indifferently, "I don't want to see this person again. You should know what to do, right?" After he said this sentence, he got up and walked in the direction of Avery.

Trevor’s mocking laughter came from behind.

"Now he can’t resist it.”

On the other side, Avery had not yet gotten rid of the entangled Dominic yet. He dragged her injured arm and cursed as she raised his hand to pull at Avery’s hair. Blake then suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking Dominic’s hand and pushing him away.

"Who the fuck dares to meddle in my business …" Dominic staggered two steps, and just as he raised his fist, he saw who it was and immediately shriveled up.

In S city, there was no one who did not recognize Blake. Everyone knew that the Third Young Master Anderson was not to be trifled with.

Blake’s cold gaze swept over Dominic and finally landed on Avery, "Let's go." A warm, dry palm wrapped around her small hand and pulled her away from the scene.

He did not say another word, nor would he ask another. He had always been like this, observing everything with a cold and detached expression.

The car entered the compound. Anderson Family Mansion was a simple three-story villa. It was built with green bricks and was covered in green climbing trees.

This seemingly unremarkable small building was actually filled with more than half of the power and wealth of S city. The Andersons were a family of soldiers, and now that old man was serving as the field army commander, paying his respects to the general and managing a few significant military regions, it could be said that when old man Anderson stomped his feet, the entire S city would sway.

When Butch Anderson was young, he married Eva. The two of them had three sons and a daughter, and he was the third oldest. There was a brother above him, a sister, and a younger brother who was studying abroad.

Blake and Avery had just entered the big house when they noticed the atmosphere. An unexpected guest was sitting on the sofa in the living room — Angie Lopez.

Blake’s gaze swept across her body casually, and his brows sunk a bit, "Where are they?" he asked gently.

Tammy Anderson pointed upwards with her finger, and quarreling sounds would occasionally come from the study room upstairs.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect this to happen.” Angie stood up and pursed her lips.

"Don't join in the fun when you know you shouldn't. What a disappointment." Tammy was a straightforward person.

When Butch was young, he had a past with Angie’s mother, Audrey, and Eva had always minded this matter. All these years, whenever they quarreled, Audrey had almost always been the fuse that led to it. Today, Angie came to celebrate with a gift for the old man, causing Eva’s expression to immediately change.

Tammy’s words made Angie extremely embarrassed. Her exquisite face alternated between red and white, as she looked at Blake, begging for help.

"It's not rare for parents to get into an argument, let me go up and take a look." Blake smiled warmly as he made his way to the study room upstairs.

Not long after, the argument on the stairs really stopped. Blake accompanied his mother and walked down while laughing.

"In the end, Blake has a way." Tammy smiled and walked towards her mother.

"Who doesn't know that our parents love the third the most? Otherwise, they wouldn't have allowed the third born to take care of their arguments." Susana muttered in frustration.

"No one will treat you like a mute if you speak less." His husband, Jace Anderson, glared at her. He was still wearing the military uniform.
