In a trance

Tyson's POV

It was Monday morning and I had just got off from bed. I checked my time and it was just 7: 00 am. I began contemplating if I should go to work or just take this day off, but the thought of Adina being present immediately affected that decision.

I got ready soon, got into my car and off I went. I was just lurking around the big hotel building when Mr. Millwood walked in.

“Hello sir, what a pleasant surprise.”

“Hey Tyson, my newest partner.”

“I’m good, sir, you are rarely present in the company, may I ask why you’re here today?”

“You’re right Mr. Tyson, but I have information to cut across the staff today, so I’d be holding a meeting by noon.”

“Oh, okay then. I’d be present.”

“Thanks.” With that, he left.

“What information could be so important?” I thought.

“It was noon already and everyone was seated around the table waiting for Mr. Millwood to break the silence. Which he soon did, but what he said surprised me. He had just come to announce a new CEO of the company whic
