Like Her

"Can I come in?", Mr. Martin asked.

Mia replied while looking at some files, "Sure, Mr. Martin."

He entered, "I was here to thank you for doing

all the arrangements for my stay. It is a thank you gift from me."

She looked up. He was holding a bouquet to her.

In the meanwhile, Lin was going to enter the office room but he stopped at the sight of Liam Martin holding a bouquet to Mia. He saw them from the slightly opened door left by Liam.

Mia smiles and takes the bouquet, "Thank you for this but there was no need for it. I just did what I was supposed to. By the way, what would you like to have ?"

He smiled, "Oh, no need for that. I know that you are going to have a meeting after a little while so, I won't be bothering you anymore. I will be leaving then."

He went away. When he opened the door Lin was standing there. He chuckled at his sight.

Liam closed the door behind himself.

He looked into Lin's eyes and whispered, "Stay away from her."

He went away. Lin's hands turned into fist
