Sienna is a bar performer—she dances to entertain men, and that is the only boundary of her work. Nothing more. She was already content with the life she had grown used to, until one night, she was suddenly abducted by men she did not know and taken to an enormous mansion. There, she meets Red Montemayor—a billionaire who is cold, dominant, and burdened by a hidden disability. Despite his commanding presence and sharp tongue, Red is blind due to an accident. He offers Sienna a peculiar job: to become his fake girlfriend. All of this is part of Red’s plan against the woman he once loved—Cassandra, the ex-girlfriend who betrayed him. He wants to return the pain she caused him, twice as much as what he endured. Amid anger, revenge, and emotions slowly taking shape, the hearts of Sienna and Red will be put to the test. What if another man suddenly appears—will he become an ally, or an enemy? As Sienna’s stay by Red’s side lengthens, secrets will gradually come to light—secrets that will wound the young man’s heart even more. Will a fake relationship turn into true love, or will one merely become a bridge for a former love to return?

1 - Taken Without Warning

Sienna POV

While waiting for a customer, I leaned back on my chair and stared at my nails. No one had picked me yet tonight, and for the first time in history, I’d been sitting here this long without a single client. My legs were already sweating — still nothing. Weird.

I'm Sienna, and I work as an entertainer for VIPs at a bar — entertainer, and that’s where my job ends. It’s not like I let things go beyond that. Sure, I’m no saint and definitely not a virgin anymore, but I still have my limits.

The door suddenly opened, and Gary, the bar’s bouncer, came in.

“What?” I asked. He never enters this room — not where the entertainers stay.

“Someone wants to talk to you.”

My brows knitted. “A customer?”

Gary hesitated, shifting his weight from one foot to another. “I’m… not sure. He didn’t say.”

That hesitation alone made my stomach twist. Gary never acted nervous — not unless something was off.

I crossed my arms. “Then tell him I’m not available unless he’s paying for my time.”

“But—”

I raised my hand, cutting him off. I didn’t want to hear another word. The last thing I needed was some random person ruining my mood when I hadn’t even gotten a customer tonight. Annoyed, I shooed the bouncer away.

I distracted myself again while waiting. Tonight also happens to mark my fifth year working in this bar. I’ve managed to stay because the salary’s good — something I’d never earn washing dishes at some small eatery. In all those years, thank God, I’ve only dealt with a few customers who tried to cross the line. I’m an entertainer — some men want more than that. When they insist, I get them drunk and knock them out before anything happens. And if a VIP wants a “wild party,” the bar sends other girls instead.

I exhaled, glancing at the clock on the wall. Three hours had passed, and still no customer. I was the only one left here. Maybe there weren’t many people outside tonight — that’s why I didn’t get anyone.

I stood up to peek outside, but before I could even take a step, two men suddenly grabbed my arms and started dragging me out of the room.

“W-Who are you?!” I stammered, panic creeping into my voice. They looked decent, not like thugs, but why were they taking me? “Wait—let me go!” I struggled, but they just kept walking, pulling me straight out of the bar. Fear rushed through me. Why were they taking me out? What if my boss looks for me?

I looked around, hoping someone would help, but everyone just ignored us — even though it was obvious I was being dragged away. The men didn’t stop walking, and they didn’t answer a single question I threw at them.

The moment we got into the car, darkness swallowed everything. The windows were tinted, and there were no lights inside.

“Blindfold her,” one of the men beside me ordered.

“Make sure it’s tight. Hold her down properly. If she escapes, the boss will have our heads.”

He pulled out a white cloth from his pocket. I could still see a little since it was light-colored. I tried to resist, but another pair of hands grabbed my head to keep me still. If this is a kidnapping, what would they even get from someone like me? I barely earn enough to survive each month.

“If I get out of here, I’ll report you to the police!” I shouted angrily.

Someone laughed — probably the driver.

“That’s not gonna happen, Ms. Our boss can handle the police.”

“Why are you taking me? What do you want from me?!”

“You’ll find out soon,” one of them replied.

They held me tightly on both sides. Idiots — how was I supposed to escape when they were practically glued to me? And what’s with the blindfold? It’s not like I’d remember the way.

Hours seemed to pass. My throat was dry from the long ride. Couldn’t they at least give me some water?

“We’re here,” the man beside me said.

Oh wow, the kidnapper speaks English. Fancy.

“Take her inside first before removing the blindfold. The boss is in the living room. Once you’re there, let her go and step back. Leave if he says so.”

The two men grabbed me again, pulling me out of the car. I nearly stumbled since I couldn’t see a thing. The place felt eerie — like a haunted house waiting for a ghost to appear.

I counted our steps. Around thirty before I heard a door open. We were inside. The two men immediately let go of me.

“Leave us,” a deep voice commanded.

The sound sent chills down my spine. His voice was cold, low, and full of authority. That must be the “boss” they were talking about. I wanted to see him — to ask why he brought me here. I was about to remove the blindfold when he spoke again.

“Sit down.”

I finally took the cloth off — how could I sit if I couldn’t even see? The dim room greeted me. Only a few small lights glowed from the ceiling. The big chandelier wasn’t even turned on. The curtains were red, and everything around me looked… expensive, yet oddly gloomy.

In front of me sat a man, his head slightly bowed.

“I said, sit down.”

I swallowed hard at the seriousness in his tone. Looking around, I spotted a chair behind me — that’s where the two men had stopped earlier. I sat down, keeping my eyes on the man whose face I still couldn’t fully see under the faint light.

“If you’re after money,” I started, “you won’t get a single cent from me. I’m not rich!”

He smirked, lips curling faintly.

“I have plenty of money. I don’t need that from you.”

I raised an eyebrow. “Then what do you want? Why have your men drag me all the way here — to this creepy vampire-looking mansion of yours?”

Honestly, that’s what it looked like. Thick curtains, low lighting, a huge chandelier left unused — rich, but stingy enough to save on electricity.

“I have a proposal for you,” he said calmly.

My attention snapped back to him. His face was slightly lifted now, but still partly hidden in the shadows.

“Proposal?”

“Yes.”

“What kind of proposal are we talking about?”

“Be my girlfriend.”

For a second, my brain completely froze — or maybe I just misheard him.

“I mean, be my fake girlfriend.”

My brows furrowed. Was this man drunk? Why drag me here just to say that?

“How much did you drink, mister? You must still be drunk. I don’t even know you, and you’re asking me to be your fake girlfriend? Are you insane?”
