Sienna POV

My mouth fell open at what Red said. It was as if he was telling me that what I was doing was easy, even though it clearly wasn’t.

“What did you just say?” I asked seriously. I walked up to him and stopped right in front of him. “Say that again.”

He tilted his head slightly. Red always seemed to know exactly where a person was even without seeing them.

“I said,” he repeated, “what Belle’s making you do is easy. Why can’t you do it right away?”

I bit my lip hard. This man was really getting on my nerves, and I needed to calm myself down before I lost it.

“If it’s that easy, then go on—do it yourself. Let’s switch places. I’ll sit there, and you wear these stilettos and walk in a straight line. Then we’ll see if you can still say it’s ‘easy,’” I said firmly.

Red raised both eyebrows. “Why would I do that? I hired Belle to teach you, not me.”

“Oh, you—” I shut my eyes, trying to hold myself back.
