Kidnapped Luna, Vengeful Mate

Xavier and his wolf were out on a run since they needed to clear their heads. Neither knew what to do with Saphira. Saphira was so fearful and unsure of herself. They both knew that they needed to support her the best they could, without scaring her. Which was difficult since he was prone to anger, even going into a blind rage when someone did or said something that he didn’t agree with.

His wolf, Hunter, was the same way. ‘Xavier, you think the Moon Goddess, Serena, did this to teach us how to be more gentle? To be more gentle and understanding?’ Hunter asked with a huff. Xavier rolled his eyes a bit. ‘Doubt it but possibly. Regardless, I’m still not happy. Like, seriously? Why did she give us an Omega? A blind and fearful one at this. Why not give us a mate that was born as a Beta or a Gamma? Or one that was being trained as a Luna? I just don’t understand,’ Xavier stated with a growl.

Despite this, Xavier was absolutely and utterly in love with Saphira. Hunter felt the same with Amethyst. There was definitely something about them that captivated them. Neither knew why. ‘We need to go back. We have some work to do,’ Hunter said. Xavier nodded and the two started to head back. Hunter let Xavier take over. Beads of sweat fell from his forehead and his well-built body.

When he got close, he noticed that something was wrong. He bolted inside of the pack house. He didn’t bother to close the door that he entered from. When he entered, he smelled blood. Some from his pack, while there was a scent of blood from werewolves that he didn’t recognize, along with Saphira’s blood. Xavier’s eyes went wide as his body tensed. “What in the fucking hell happened?! Where is Saphira?!” he shouted out at full volume, which got everyone to stop.

“Alpha Xavier, we were attacked by Felix and his pack. They severely wounded several of our members while his pack took Luna Saphira by force. They knocked her unconscious so she would stop fighting,” Dawn, a young Gamma werewolf, explained. Xavier snarled and punched a wall, thus putting a good-sized hole in the nearby wall, which caused everyone nearby to jump. “Why wasn’t anyone with her?!” Xavier shouted.

“Max and Amber were with her. They’re in the medical wing as we speak,” Dawn said. Xavier snarled at this but nodded. He didn’t like this. He could also sense that Hunter was also furious at this. ‘We have to find her. We have to get our mate back. They’re in danger,’ Hunter snarled out. Xavier practically ran to his room that he shared with Saphira. He slammed the door behind him.

Xavier threw a chair at the wall. He was pissed and scared. He sat on the side that Saphira usually sleeps on. Xavier started to cry, hard. Not just a quiet crying but loud and ugly crying. He blamed himself for not being here to protect Saphira. “I should have been here! Saphira would still be here! By my side! Damnit!” Xavier cried out. ‘Xavier, we’ll get our mate. I promise. Felix and his pack will pay,’ Hunter told him firmly.

Xavier growled at this but nodded. ‘I’ve changed. No. We’ve changed. Yes, we’re still aggressive and ruthless but we’re also protective,’ Hunter said. ‘I know, and we’ll get them back. Even if it kills us,’ Xavier said. He was determined. Xavier was going to do whatever it took. Saphira’s safety was of utmost importance. Xavier had to make sure Saphira was going to be okay. He didn’t want her getting injured—well, he didn’t want her getting more injured than she already was.

Xavier will also need to figure out where Felix and his pack are. He soon walked back out to get the pack together. Xavier wanted a pack meeting with those who were okay. Once everyone who was uninjured was in the dining area, Xavier looked at them. “We need to find Felix and his pack. Once Felix’s pack is found, do not engage. We need to make sure that Saphira and her wolf, Amethyst, are safe, along with assessing if either are injured if you see them. But don’t expect to see either of them. Assume that Saphira and Amethyst are severely injured. The healers are more than capable in treating and helping the injured,” Xavier said with a snarl.

It was quiet as everyone looked at each other. He could see that everyone was unsure and startled. “I know everyone is scared and uncertain. We have to stand together. Felix and his pack attacked us. Took Saphira from us. We need to take her back from them, along with getting our revenge,” Xavier stated as he looked at his remaining uninjured pack members. Soon, the others nodded and agreed at this. They wanted revenge and to bring back Saphira.

Saphira mumbled a bit as she started to wake up. She looked around since she didn’t realize where she was at first. She was lying on an unfamiliar bed. ‘Saphira, thank the Moon Goddess you’re awake. Are you okay? You’re not hurt are you?’ Amethyst asked her in worry. Saphira felt around. ‘I…I don’t think I’m injured. I’m not sure though. I can’t exactly see myself in the mirror. If I could, I think our kidnappers might have cleaned us up from any blood,’ Saphira explained.

She soon heard the door to the room she was in open. “Ah, you’re awake now. Good,” a male voice said. Saphira knew that it wasn’t Xavier. She tried to move away since he was approaching her but noticed that she couldn’t. Her arms were tied to the bed. “I can’t have you escape now. Xavier Hellfire doesn’t deserve you. He’s far too aggressive and abusive, along with careless to leave such a beautiful she-wolf unattended,” he said with a smirk as he gently cupped her cheek to get her to look at him.

“Who are you? What do you want? Please let me go,” Saphira begged as she struggled to break free from her restraints, which caused the male to laugh softly. “As for who I am, I’m Felix Dawnheart. As for what I want, it is you. The Moon Goddess made a mistake in having you become mates with Xavier Hellfire,” Felix said. Saphira whimpered and shook her head. “That isn’t true. She doesn’t make mistakes. She put me with Xavier for a reason,” Saphira said.

At this, Felix gave her a backhand. Saphira yelped out in pain. She was crying. Then Felix grabbed her face. “Listen here, bitch. The Moon Goddess doesn’t know what she’s doing. You’re not going anywhere. You’re mine and that’s final,” Felix snarled out. Saphira whimpered but decided to headbutt Felix. She heard the sound of bone snapping when her head connected to Felix’s face. She assumed that she had broken his nose.

Felix slapped Saphira again and punched her stomach. Saphira cried out from the pain. Tears flowed freely. “You’ll pay for that, you little bitch. You have my word. I’ll make sure you’ll regret ever doing that to me,” Felix snarled out. With that, Felix left the room and slammed the door behind him. Saphira was just glad that Felix was gone.

‘Don’t listen to him, Saphira. Our mate will come for us. We just have to wait. We just need to be strong until they do,’ Amethyst told Saphira gently. ‘What if they don’t? What if our mate abandoned us?’ Saphira asked through sobs. Amethyst sighed a bit at this. ‘Saphira, they will come for us. I know they will. We just have to hold on. Try and get some rest. We’ll need our strength to fight back,’ Amethyst said.

Saphira wasn’t so sure about this. She was scared, confused, and in pain. Both Saphira and Amethyst knew that things would only get much worse. Either way, Saphira knew that Amethyst was right about two things: that she needed rest and that she needed to be strong. Saphira got as comfortable as she could before falling asleep. She prayed that Xavier and his wolf Hunter would come and rescue them from this hellhole, and make Felix pay for what he did to her and Amethyst.
