Elizia and Jordan, together with the female vampires, took Elias home. She decided that she will never leave Elias again. It took Elias two hours before he finally woke up. It was enough time for the vampires to convert the barn to a holding cell with reinforced steel. They could not be so sure about the current state of Elias. When he finally stood up from the canopy, he saw Elizia sitting outside his cell.
"Is this how they welcome a wayward alpha?" Elias joked. But in truth, he was so ashamed of himself. He killed so many innocent lives in two weeks.
"You're not wayward; something happened to you that made you that way," Elizia responded sincerely. "Besides, they're not afraid of you."
"You know I can hear them, right?" Elias answered as he hears the frantic ramblings of the pack.
"They just don't understand what's happening to you." Elizia continued to cheer him up.
"I killed those people. I could have stopped myself because I didn't want to."
