OLIVIA

I quickly yanked the blanket off my body, my pulse racing.

What the hell was Logan doing here?

How did he even find me?

The room spun for a moment as I tried to make sense of everything. The smell of herbs and smoke hung in the air, the faint warmth of a nearby fire wrapping around me. My heart pounded so hard it hurt.

I couldn’t stay here.

I couldn’t.

I had to go back.

I pushed the covers aside and tried to stand, but the moment my bare foot hit the wooden floor, a sharp pain shot up my leg. I hissed under my breath and stumbled, reaching for the nightstand for balance.

My gaze fell to my leg… wrapped neatly in a white bandage, right where the broken glass had pierced me.

And then I noticed my clothes.

Gone was the torn dress. In its place, I was wearing an ash-colored top and joggers. The fabric still smelled faintly of store tags and detergent.

Did he… change me?

Before I could spiral further, Logan was beside me, his hand gripping my arm gently.

“Easy,” he whispered. “You n

  • The Bride He Never Wanted    Where am I?

OLIVIAI was dragging him. I didn’t even know how long I’d been walking , my legs felt like dead weight, my arms numb, my side burning so badly it felt like something inside me was torn open. Every step sent pain crashing through my body… and then I realized we were surrounded.I could hear them shouting now, closer and clearer… orders snapping through the chaos. I turned in a slow circle, my breath coming out broken, my mind fractured under the pressure. Should I fight… or run?Impossible. If I dropped Ryan, I could turn, could attack, could buy time. But the thought of letting go of him, even for a second, made something in my chest ache so badly I thought it would split open. And run with him?I didn’t even know if I could still do that.My body was failing me. My legs trembled violently beneath his weight, the blood I've lost made the world tilt and sway, the edges of my vision darkened no matter how hard I tried to focus.I was weak. Too weak to fight, run or think.I was losing

  • The Bride He Never Wanted     I wasn’t letting go of him

OLIVIAI was shaking. No matter how hard I pressed my back into the dirt or dug my fingers into the soil beneath me, the tremors wouldn’t stop. My hands felt weak, useless, as if my body hadn’t caught up with what my eyes had just witnessed. My chest rose and fell too fast, my breaths shallow and panicked, like my lungs had forgotten how to work properly.I still couldn’t fathom what had just happened. One moment, the forest had been quiet, and the next it was torn apart by floodlights, shouting voices, and the crack of gunfire. Armed men, military men were everywhere. How did they find us?My mind kept circling the question, over and over, like if I thought it enough times the answer would magically appear. This place was supposed to be hidden. Ryan said it was hidden.I had been so tempted to shift. The urge was overwhelming, burning through my veins, my wolf screaming at me to move, to run, to fight. Every instinct in me wanted to burst out of hiding and go to Ryan’s side. To stand

  • The Bride He Never Wanted    Chaos

RYANThe world snapped into chaos. Floodlights burst on all at once at my direction. Men stepped out from every direction, uniformed and armoured. Faces hard, their eyes locked on me.Military men.My heart slammed so violently it hurt. How the fuck did they find this place? This spot was buried, hidden and ff every map that mattered. My father had sworn it was invisible and yet here they were.“OH MY GOD!” someone shouted.Red dots appeared on my chest, my shoulders, my head.Rifles raised. Fingers tight on triggers.“WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!”My wolf roared inside me. ‘Kill them.’I didn’t know what to do. Shuld I rip through the first line, take the one with the net launcher out before he fires. Break the arm of the man shouting orders, use his body as a shield. Run and vanish into the trees. Leave blood and confusion behind.I could do it.I’d done worse. My wolf surged, my muscles bunching, my teeth aching to taste flesh. ‘Say the word,’ he growled. ‘I’ll tear them apart.’But the

  • The Bride He Never Wanted    Please shift

RYANMy wolf was happy. No… he was more than happy. He was full, settled and alive in a way he hadn’t been in years. The night had already given me more than I expected. The Penthouse opening in Barcelona had gone perfectly and successful, everything I’d worked for falling into place. Then Olivia. Seeing her again, touching her again. Being close in a way that didn’t feel forced or angry or broken, and now this. Running together.I hadn’t done this in years. Thank God I was in Barcelona. My dad used to bring me here when I was younger. Vacation trips, he’d called them, but I knew the truth even then. When my wolf got too loud. When I couldn’t sleep. When the walls felt too close. He’d drive us out here and say nothing, just nod toward the trees and let me go.I never knew how he found this place. I don’t think he ever told anyone. But standing here now, running again under the same sky, I understood why he kept it to himself. This place was sacred… and now I was sharing it with her.

  • The Bride He Never Wanted    The set up

LOGANI sat back in the chair, my fingers gripping the armrest so tightly my knuckles ached.I was angry and I was smiling… the two emotions burned together in my chest. Every time I replayed what I’d seen a few hours ago, my blood boiled hotter. After she’d kicked me out of the restaurant, after she’d looked at me like I was nothing and pushed me away like I disgusted her, I knew I couldn’t just walk away. I tried. I really did, but Olivia had always had a way of getting under my skin, and now… now there was another man in her space.Finding her address hadn’t been hard. A few questions here, and suddenly I knew exactly where she lived.Breaking in was even easier. The apartment had been empty when I entered. I moved through it calmly and installed small cameras, making sure they were well hidden. In every corner and angle no one ever thinks to check. I made sure they blended in, made sure nothing looked disturbed.By the time I was done, the apartment looked exactly the same. And th

  • The Bride He Never Wanted    I missed this

OLIVIAThe car slowed, then stopped. For a second, I just sat there, staring out the window, and I saw trees. Not the neat, trimmed kind you see lining city roads or parks… but thick, wild trees. Their branches tangled together like they’d been growing unchecked for decades. I blinked. “What the hell…”I never knew a place like this existed so close to the city. Raina stirred sharply inside me, her excitement flooded through me so fast it made my chest feel light.‘Oh, finally,’ she breathed. ‘Finally.’My lips parted slightly as I took it all in. Since leaving the pack, she hadn’t been free. No long runs. No wind tearing past us. No earth under our paws. And now… with Ryan this close, the bond only made the urge stronger. The engine shut off, and Ryan got out first, moving around the car quickly. He opened my door and held it for me.That small gesture still felt strange, and I haven't gotten used to it yet. I stepped down, straightened my hoodie and glanced at him. “Thanks,” I sai
