Chapter 18: Red

“Again my apologies for what my staff's done, Miss. He's just a new staff member, maybe not used to working yet." The stall owner and staff bowed deeply. Grace was still frozen in place, trying to process the many things that had happened in the last five minutes. The red soup of her lunch already moved to her white blouse. It wasn't the accident that had taken her by surprise. Evelyn's reaction had silenced her even more. Only this time Evelyn looked so red with anger. She even immediately shouted for the owner.

“Your apology won't make my friend's clothes clean again! Why are you being so careless?!” Evelyn snapped awake Grace.

"Evelyn, it's okay. These stains can still disappear when washed. After all, the waiter and the owner have apologized. So sit down and stop making me a spectacle." Grace whispered as she pulled Evelyn down. Evelyn shook Grace's hand roughly, which made her choke a little.
