Chapter 7: Date

Evelyn POV

After work, I rushed home as fast as I could. The more I thought about it the more I realized that not only would I have to be discreet about spending my money there but I would also have to be discreet about being there in the first place. No one could recognize me there. So, I put on some sunglasses and a hat. Most of the time I was seen in the public eye I was always in business wear so I couldn’t wear my normal outfits. I almost put on sweats knowing no one would recognize me in those. Then I thought about Pearl and realized there was no way I was wearing sweats to see her. I grabbed the one clubbing dress I still had from my college days, a tiny black dress that barely covered my ass. Then I headed to the club, making a stop at an atm on my way there.
