Ashton's POV

"Wow! It was amazing, my love," I mumbled after my wife collapsed beside me in our bed after sharing the most beautiful lovemaking we had ever had.

"Yeah, it was wonderful," she mumbled as she panted, and I smiled as I pulled her closer to me.

"I just want to distract you with your worries," she said, and I chuckled, trying to hide the anxiousness I felt regarding my father.

"Oh, really, and why are you doing that? Do you think I need a distraction?" I asked, pretending I didn't know what she meant.

"Come on, my love, you don't need to hide it from me," Megan replied as she caressed my chest with her fingers; that made me feel my member twitch with excitement, and I couldn't believe I would be hard again for her.

Having my wife's naked body beside me made me want to take her again, and Megan was right; she did an excellent job distracting me a while ago.

When I got inside my room and heard her beautiful voice, I had forgotten the reason why I felt so upset with my dad. My wife still brings me to the place where she could only get me where I could feel too much happiness.

I love hearing her sweet voice singing the song she wrote for me. It felt so amazing that have her in my arms, and I could smell her intoxicating scent that always drove me nuts.

"It didn't go well, right?" She asked, and lying to Megan was not a good idea because she could see me through no matter how I hid what I truly felt.

"Well, it seemed like my father is still the same, Meg. I am sorry to disappoint you; bringing you and Axel here is not a good idea. He can make your stay hell," I said, and I wondered why she was smiling as she shook her head.

"Anything funny, my love?" I asked, curious.

"Nothing, I just realized you are so worked up; give him a chance, Ashton. I knew your dad felt hurt that we didn't invite him to our wedding." My wife answered.

"I knew it wasn't the case, Megan. I know he will find a way to make you walk away from my life," I replied.

"You don't need to worry, Ashton. I will stay by your side, whatever happens. Besides, it felt like I was in heaven every time I was with you." She declared.

Her words made me feel so happy, and I took my time to kiss her lips with tenderness; we were making out until we heard our son's voice outside my room, and I suddenly felt alarmed since we were still lying naked in my king-size bed.

"Dad! Mom! Can I come in?" Axel asked as he softly knocked on our door. I quickly put on my boxer shorts and t-shirt while my wife put on her dress hastily.

"Yes, son, I am coming!" I shouted as I made my way to the door.

"Hey, buddy, it seemed like you had fun with your uncles," I said after I opened the door widely, and I could see the bead of sweat all over his face. I didn't need to touch his clothes to know he was sweating all over his body.

"Oh, Axel, you need to change your clothes now, son," Megan said before I could say another word.

"No, mom, we are not yet done playing; uncle Lennon asked me to fetch dad since I told him and uncle Cole that no one can defeat my father." He responded, and I chuckled as I ruffled Axel's hair.

"Aren't you tired, my dear?" my wife asked, and our son shook his head right away.

"No, mom, I was having a great time with my uncles, and I want dad to join us since we still have time; the sun is still up, and I can't wait to defeat them," Axel replied, and Megan was laughing so hard.

"Do you want to win against your uncles?" My wife asked.

"Yeah, but we won't be playing football this time, mom," he responded, and I could see the excitement on his face.

"What are you going to play then?" Megan inquired as she wrinkled her forehead.

"Basketball," he answered.

"Oh, I could say your dad is good with football, but I am not sure if you will win against your uncles if you are playing basketball," Megan said.

"What is that supposed to mean, Meg?" I asked, and she only shrugged her shoulders.

"You think I can't play basketball?" I asked, and she was laughing as she nodded her head.

"Meg, you know I could also play basketball; you should watch me play," I said to my wife, and she giggled, and I returned my attention to Axel.

"You have to wait for me, son. I will change into my jersey, it is about time to show your mom I am not only the best at playing football, but I could play any sport." I declared, and I turned around and went straight to my cabinet and pulled out some old jerseys and compression tights.

"Wow! You looked hot with that jersey, Ashton; all I can remember is your football uniform." Megan stated as I found her looking at me with wide eyes after I put on my basketball shoes.

"Yeah, and I could tell you will be more in love with me after you watch me play," I responded, and she sweetly smiled at me.

"No need for that, Mr. Pritzgold. I am already crazy about you," she replied, and I beamed at her.

"Mom, aren't you coming?" Our son asked, and I could tell my wife wanted to stay in my room, but the look our son gave her was enough to make my wife come with us.

"You need to help me decide what sport I am going to play when I grow up, mom," Axel added, and I could see the shock on Megan's face.

"I think you should be asking me that, Axel; I am more into sport than your mother," I responded before Megan could answer our little boy, and I laughed when I heard my son's reply.

"I know you will be biased, dad, since I know how much you love football." He said.

"I thought you love football more than any other sport?" My wife asked our little boy.

"Well, I am having second thoughts as I learned from uncle Lennon that basketball is a cool sport, too," Axel answered, and I couldn't stop smiling as I realized he sounded like an eighteen-year-old.

"My dear, as your mom, I will support you in whatever kind of sport you want to play as long as you promise me that you will never abuse your body and you will take good care of yourself." My wife said.

"It would be lovely to see you in a basketball court or at the fields, and it doesn't matter to me; what is important is what is in your heart, what you love the most," my wife added, and Axel's face lit up.

I smiled when I found Isabelle was already sitting on the bleacher.

"You better sit beside Belle, Meg," I said to my wife, and she nodded. She gave me a quick peck on the lips before kissing our son's cheeks.

"You have to be extra careful, buddy," Megan said to Axel.

"Yes, mom, I will," Our son responded as he ran towards his uncles; I could see Lennon was showing off his skills by shooting three points, and I knew my brother was good with this sport, and I only wanted to impress my wife.

It was a good game since Lennon asked Axel to be his teammate while Cole and I were their opponents.

"Wow! I am proud of you, son, you can play basketball," I said after we called it a day, and as expected, Lennon and Axel won since my brother is good at shooting the ball while I, on the other hand, was having a hard time to make a score.

"I didn't do anything, dad; it was all uncle Lennon's score," Axel replied.

"Hey, buddy, we were teammates; it means I didn't win alone," Lennon said, and my son smiled at his uncle.

I could see my wife having a serious talk with my sister, and they stopped talking when they noticed I was coming to join them.

"Nice game, my love," my wife said, and I knew she was teasing me.

"I am sorry, I didn't have practice, Meg," I responded; my wife and sister laughed at me.

"You better stick with football, my love," my wife declared, and I could still see the amusement on her face.

"Yeah, I agree with you, Megan." My sister seconded.

"Hey, don't judge me like that; I only gave Lennon a chance since Axel was playing with him," I replied.

"You better stop, Ashton; you can never be as good as Lennon." My sister stated.

"Ouch, that hurts, Belle," I responded as I offered my hand to my wife, and she took it excitedly.

"You better go to your room now so you can prepare dinner; dad said we will be having dinner at six-thirty," my sister said, and my face fell.

"Okay, see you at dinner, Belle," I responded, and Megan called Axel, and together we went back to our room.

I smiled when I found clean clothes on top of my bed, and I could tell right away my wife had prepared them for me before she went to our son's room.

Megan looked so beautiful in her ankle-length dress, while our son seemed so adorable. I couldn't help but take them both into my arms before we walked out to the door and made our way to the dining hall with the hope that Axel's first meeting with his grandfather would be beautiful and the dinner would go smoothly, according to plan.

"Grandpa!" Axel exclaimed when he saw my father sitting on the head of the table, and the entire surrounding turned so quiet as we all waited for my father's reaction as my son came running towards my dad.
