ELLA'S POV

I was annoyed beyond measure. How could he be so cruel? Sylvia had worked with him for the past two years yet he just threw her out like that? There was no proof, no evidence to show that she was guilty of the crime he accused her of.

I glanced at him as he stood in front of every employee in the meeting room while he spoke and I couldn't help the hatred that bloomed in my heart against him.

He was everything I hated and it made me sick to my stomach that I was working with someone like him. What made it worse was that I slept with him and that was the only reason I got this job.

He announced that he would be getting a new secretary and I scoffed while I cussed at him under my breath. I wanted to get revenge for Sylvia but my hands were tied.

“That being said, my new personal secretary is…” His voice trailed as his gaze moved over everyone before stopping to meet mine.
