ELLA'S POV

I had unknowingly fallen asleep in Damien's arms and the feeling that came along with it made me realize that I might regret trying to hurt Damien because of Sylvia.

So, I came up with a better option.

I'll find out the real truth so that if Damien truly framed Sylvia and was at fault, I wouldn't have to feel guilty for doing anything to him. However, if he was innocent… we would simply find out who tried to frame Sylvia and get our revenge on them.

I took my phone, placed a soft kiss on his cheek, and then left the room. The security guard looked somewhat sad when I came out, causing me to look at him in confusion.

“What's with that sad expression? You don't want me to leave?” I teased as I walked up to the gate and to my surprise, he nodded quickly. “Why don't you want me to leave?”

“Well, you seemed to take care of my boss well and he hasn't had anyone come here in a long time to help him with his daily necessities.” He said and I raised my brow at him in confusion.
