“How’s your back?” I looked at Paul when he spoke. We’re currently here in the park, he asked me last night to meet him tonight, so I just said yes.

“I’m okay, it’s not that hurt,” I answer. I turned my eyes to the cars moving in front of us.

I don’t know why he wants to meet me, I also don’t know why I said ‘yes’ when he asked me.

“Did you eat already?” he asked again, I nodded my head without looking at him.

“We ate our dinner with Ethan earlier,” I answered, I can see from my peripheral vision that he looked at me but I stayed looking in front of me.

“He’s my childhood friend, he recently came back here in Philippines. I have to guide him since he don’t know the university, we’re still friends even though we didn’t talk for years,” I narrated when he was about to speak.

I know that he wanted to know Ethan, I know that he wanted to clear everything, like where I met Ethan and why I’m with Ethan after rejecting him.

“Does he likes you?” he asked, I turned my head on him.
