Chapter 5
MATT'S POV:—---------I didn't want to repeat my words. Those tears boiled my blood and I was getting even angrier."Do you need to pick something before you get out!?" I inquired of her as she stood trembling. "You know the rules and decided to break them on your first day with me. Do you think that's perfectly splendid, silly? You are not the first person to have consented to this glory, it's not not nice working with you." I concluded with good remarks and rhetorical questions."I…am…so sorry, I can't go back alone. It's late." She pleaded as her tears wouldn't stop streaming down her poor face.I smirked and banged the door as loudly as I could, leaving her outside to the mercies of the weather. I thought she was sorry for something better, but she was rather pleading because it was late and can't go alone. 'That is not my business.'"And for you, employ better maids next time and desist from letting them face my wrath!" I warned Patricia, the Head maid, and walked straight to my room to change up and go to my favorite nightclub. While dressing up, someone knocked. There were only two people who could do that so I knew who the person was."Hey girl, I asked you to go home; I just can't work with you again…" I recited as I walked towards the door. To my surprise, it was Antonio, my undercover bodyguard, and messenger. "How was it?" I had already asked him to follow Kate earlier."I got the picture of her mother but I didn't get that of the dude who drove her home in the afternoon. I'm sorry for that." He handed me a brown envelope containing the pictures he took."Is that her mother, what's she doing at the hospital?" I curiously asked, knowing that she might be ill. The image didn't look new to me. She resembled someone from where I stayed earlier, yeah, when I was a child. "Why didn't you bring her home? You f*cken know it's dangerous out there." I scolded him."I tried to but a cop pulled up so I thought there was no need." he managed to give me the craziest answer ever written in history."Oh, are you afraid of the police? Demn, what's wrong with you!?" I did not know why he would possibly run away from a cop if he had done nothing wrong."I'm sorry boss, I f*cked up.""You're still on drugs, right?" I suspected and pushed him away from me. "Get your filthy ass off here! You know what? Make sure she reaches home safely. You've fucked up today!" I roared out of rage and walked out to sit in my limousine. My driver knew my routine and did not even bother to ask. He hated making mistakes and did not like to ask me more questions. He was the only one who did a ninety-eight percent and accurate job. He was fifty years and above and knew all corners of the planet as if he had a map in his black hat. Mr. Marvin was just an immaculate driver. As I was relaxing at the back of the car and scrolling through some business documents, a call came.On phone:—-------"Hello darling," the voice from the other side of the phone called."Hey, sweetheart. How have you been?" It was someone I loved dearly. I couldn't forget her voice although her number seemed new on my phone."Mm, I'm good, what's up with you out there?""I'm always ok whenever you are fine. What's up this evening, do you need money?" I asked. Her calls were unusual."Nope, not really. I just miss you and wanted to check up. I might come to New York for a workshop and I hope you don't mind if…""Come on girl…, it's a large place. My home is your comfort zone whenever you come here." I made it simple for her."Thank you, Matt, bye-bye."End of call------------She just hung up after hearing what she needed to hear. After I laughed and dashed my phone into my pocket, I noticed my driver had opened the door signaling me to get down. I got down and tucked my shirt, and covered my eyes with my dark glasses. 'Yeah, the town runner is in the building.'"Would you like to drink something, Mr. Marvin?" I offered humbly and showed him all my teeth in a well-designed smile."Thank you, Sir. I'm good. I'll be watching around." He managed to run away from my temptation. This would have been his last drive if he had said "Yes,"."Don't drink and drive, buddy." I laughed and walked away while he parked the limousine. The bouncers did not even waste time opening the door."Would you need company, Sir?" One of them offered but I turned him down. I just wanted to be free. Besides, Antonio was watching. I laughed and got inside. At the club:-----------'What the heck?' The club was full of busy dancing bodies. This wasn't likely of this club. I watched around and realized there have been some facelifts that were captivating. I imagined how I would pass through them to the counter where I liked to sit most often. Since I did not want to get wet with their sweat, I walked upstairs and rested on the sofa at the VIP's center. Within a few seconds, a hot bartender walked up to me."What may I offer you, Sir?""Five shots of tequila and two bottles of Hennessy," I ordered for my favorite drinks. She stood there and skimmed my face for a while. I believed she was shocked about my order or seeing me around. "Oh, and a bottle of Viva vodka," I added. 'Viva vodka is the most expensive drink in the club.'"You should be Matt, the billionaire!?" She concluded my order."You are new here, ay?"She nodded and ran to fetch my drink. When she was returning, a gentle young guy followed her."Sir, I'm so sorry. We've made a special place for you, not here at the VIP but I hope you would like it." The male bartender offered and led the way.I stood up, picked a glass of tequila, and followed them."You can even spend the night here, Sir."He took me to one of their exclusive rooms on the third floor. Dancing was not my thing so I was very much pleased with the offer. In the room, I didn't hear any noise but on the aisle, I heard music bumming loudly."Hold on, why today?""Yeah, we didn't know you were Matt the billionaire. Our manager figured it out while checking the sales and arranged this place for you only. We hope you like it, Sir?""Oh yeah, it's kinda cool, thanks. You can leave now." I wasn't afraid since I knew Antonio was at work. I walked into the room, lay on the large bed, stood up, did all necessary inspections, and came back to my drinks. 'That female bartender was hot. I wished to f*uck her,' thoughts run through my mind as I keep drinking and drinking. After mixing the last tequila with some drops of viva vodka, I walked out to stand on the aisle to watch those dancing bodies while I sip my burning drink. I raised my head and saw a beautiful woman dressed in a red stray dress. Her dress displayed almost every part of her breast. She was hotter than the bartender though but her face was covered with a mask."Hey handsome, would you need me to read you a bedtime story?" She flirted and walked straight to me. At last, I had someone better than the bartender to quench my sexual thirst."What good stories have you got, baby?" I faced and asked her seductively. My dick was already forcing itself out of my pants. She walked closer, took the glass off my hand, and poured the last shot into her mouth to flow down her throat."Mm, my story is actually better than this, handsome."She rushed in to kiss me. I did not resist. I kissed her back and directed her to the room. She leaned me against the wall, unzipped my pants, and took my dick from it. Swiftly, she swung it into her jaws but something weird ran over my head as Kate's face came into mind."Hold on, take off the mask, and let's start," I suggested but she refused so I forced and took it out of her face."Why did you do that, Matt Coleman?" She disappointedly mentioned my full name while she had my dick in her hand.Seeing her face and noticing who she was, I retreated my erect dick and forced it back into my pants but she begged."I love you Matt, please just once."Chapter 6Is that you, Kate?"Angela, I should be asking you that dumb question!" I exclaimed and pushed her back. Her red lipstick had been painted all over my face and shirt. It seems she was turned and was ready to let me f*ck her for free but nope, no sex with Angela. I had already promised myself not to do that."Hey, you know it won't work. I've tried harder but I'm sorry, I can't love you. Please let go of me before I lose my demonic temper on you." I advised her gently. The drink had taken effect on me and I was falling for it but not Angela. "Hey, Kate, listen... No Angels, don't come close to me. Pick that bottle for me, it will do me more good than you do. It holds interesting stories, just walk out with yours." I felt a bit tipsy, words just found their way out as soon as they came to mind. "Help yourself with it, or, get your filthy Kate to get it for you." She spewed, dressed up, and walked out as I wished. Angela was so cold-hearted. She loses her temper so easily and I
Chapter 7Reds and Blacks"Look, I'm…I…just let me go home, please. I promise not to come here again," she pleaded. The polythene bag containing the food swung behind her as she crossed one hand against the other at her back. "Look, I need you to do me a favor," I requested in return to let her go free. "What should I do for you, please?""Good! Wait and see," I promised and made a call."Hello, Antonio, track me."Within a few seconds, he appeared like a ghost. "Antonio, take her to the boutique, get her a nice red dress, take her home to get clean, and let her dress up. I need this to be done in twenty minutes," I commanded and wished noticing the time wasn't enough! Her blonde hair was very attractive and I think she didn't need to waste much time on it. Antonio adjusted his hat, got his tall body to the entrance, and signaled her to follow him but she didn't move an inch. "Do you want someone to see you this way? I guess I call someone else," she started walking towards us.
Chapter 8 Red turns bloodyKATE'S POV:—---------Music and noises went off as if the DJ had control of the people at the party too.He tuned down both his blasters and the humans' voices. I felt uneasy and felt like some crazy woman wrapped in thirteen blankets. I held up my heavy long gown so that it wouldn't be mopping spilled liquors. Maybe, I would need to return it after this party, it's too expensive for me to keep. I looked around all intersections of the gigantic hall, but Matt was nowhere to be found. A few moments later, the sound systems booted again and people began to thaw as if they were frozen earlier. All I could see were reds and blacks so finding Matt was a problem!"So as I said…" Matt's voice reverberated. I lifted my head to see him on the stage and waved at him. Matt of all people waved back excitedly, took a deep breath, and continued his speech while I just stood right to listen. "Maid, maid, maid!," Cathrine called repeatedly walking toward me, "You look
Chapter 9—-----------Laying there helplessly, I wished that a savior would pass by but all hope and wishes were in vain. "I have to save myself before I die," I encouraged myself and started crawling like a snake with the help of my hands. On my first try, the pool of blood wouldn't let me go. I slipped and fell back in it and later on, I began to feel a headache. "Help me! Help! Is someone around? Anyone, please help me," I wailed, desperately. I felt stranded, and sick at the same time. I shouted for 'help' vibrated in my head and it increased the pain I felt in my head. "Help! Mommy!!!" I was exhausted again but who would hear me in this extravagant house where people were partying, not to talk about my mother who was resting at home? I had given her some pills, and the last bread before I set out to look for food for myself. When I felt dizzy and was about to sleep, I gave attention to some approaching footsteps. I couldn't gather momentum to shout for help similarly as I had
Chapter 10—-------------"It's a silly name, I can't remember, but…hold on," I realized they weren't driving me home, "Oh please, where are you taking me to?" I asked, my voice declined this time too. "Stop the car?" Matt commanded, "Where do you live?""Not far from the party house," I answered calmly. "We can't go back, it's either you get off and start walking or you keep quiet and follow me to my house," he said, pushing his tablet into an opening at the back of the seat he fronted. I was already dozing off, I moved left and right, looking for a comfortable place to lay my heavy head. My eyes started to get wet as I tried to force them to stay active. Next day at Matt's Mansion —-----------The next day, I woke up in a large beautiful cold room all alone. I looked around and noticed it wasn't my room. 'I don't have a bed like this big cotton one. Am I in Matt's room?' I threw the blanket which covered me to make myself free, it was so heavy that I couldn't bear to carry it o
Chapter 11----------Patricia stayed at the training room while I followed Matt.“I think I need to get home before my mother…” I paused, I didn’t want to let out that my mother was sick.He turned and looked at me, wanting me to continue.Having not spoken, he just entered his room.I wandered around the luminous house like a ghost. I didn’t know what to do at the moment. I began to recall how stupidly I got to that house not knowing they owned it! I sat on the sofa for a while and went straight to have a glance at the flower garden in the center of the house. It attracted me anytime I passed by. During my first week, I wasted half of my hours admiring the red, yellow, and multiple colored flowers. Sometimes, Patricia would scold me for plugging them, so I looked around before I stubbornly and swiftly snatched a flower from its stem.I wasn’t lucky, it crushed before I brought it to my nose to testify to its good scent. I recognized an unusual flower in the middle of the beautiful
Chapter 12------------ Phone call continues--------“Kate, I don’t think you feel what I feel, it’s painful when you want your son to marry the right person, if she’s good, I will just let my son move on with her…” her voice swallowed, breaking into a seconds’ cry, “I love my son, but I don’t know what he thinks of me. Make sure you don’t tell Angela about this, she might get hurt, I will know how to deal with her.”“Yeah, she is the one.” I confirmed after taking a close look at the picture and hung the call. End of Call-----------I didn’t ask for the money in return, I knew I had done no job and didn’t deserve such an amount and secondly, I felt bad about what I had just done. Her cry and words melted my heart like fire on wax, and after all, I did it for Matt to be free from Angela, she's a Devil in disguise!. I lay on the bed reading Cassandra’s text messages and figured she was disappointed in me.I felt my stomach growl alongside other organs singing, “We want food.” I coul
Chapter 13---------------MATT’S POV:-----------“You are very beautiful, have you ever done this?” I said I didn’t want to force her to remember, maybe I might force her to disguise herself as the person, that lady Nightingale I have been searching and searching for, or perhaps, her beauty might be playing in my mind, I wasn’t only going to kiss her, Nope! I felt like fucking this hot girl! Hold on, I might ruin my reputation if she’s not in the mood, “Do you want to do this,” her shiny pretty eyes forced me to catechize. I have had sex so many times with prostitutes and random girls; I could testify that there was a vast difference between how I felt with them and this feeling with Kate.“If that’s the reason you called me here but…,” she supposedly said, touched her chest, and continued, “why this sudden feeling for me, because I don’t think I feel the same way? Do you want to put me in trouble? Your girlfriend might find out and…I…”She raised so many questions, but I was conc
