I CAN'T DO IT.

Chapter 5

MATT'S POV:

—---------

I didn't want to repeat my words. Those tears boiled my blood and I was getting even angrier.

"Do you need to pick something before you get out!?" I inquired of her as she stood trembling. "You know the rules and decided to break them on your first day with me. Do you think that's perfectly splendid, silly? You are not the first person to have consented to this glory, it's not not nice working with you." I concluded with good remarks and rhetorical questions.

"I…am…so sorry, I can't go back alone. It's late." She pleaded as her tears wouldn't stop streaming down her poor face.

I smirked and banged the door as loudly as I could, leaving her outside to the mercies of the weather. I thought she was sorry for something better, but she was rather pleading because it was late and can't go alone. 'That is not my business.'

"And for you, employ better maids next time and desist from letting them face my wrath!" I warned Patricia, the Head maid, and walked straight to my room to change up and go to my favorite nightclub.

While dressing up, someone knocked. There were only two people who could do that so I knew who the person was.

"Hey girl, I asked you to go home; I just can't work with you again…" I recited as I walked towards the door. To my surprise, it was Antonio, my undercover bodyguard, and messenger. "How was it?" I had already asked him to follow Kate earlier.

"I got the picture of her mother but I didn't get that of the dude who drove her home in the afternoon. I'm sorry for that." He handed me a brown envelope containing the pictures he took.

"Is that her mother, what's she doing at the hospital?" I curiously asked, knowing that she might be ill. The image didn't look new to me. She resembled someone from where I stayed earlier, yeah, when I was a child. "Why didn't you bring her home? You f*cken know it's dangerous out there." I scolded him.

"I tried to but a cop pulled up so I thought there was no need." he managed to give me the craziest answer ever written in history.

"Oh, are you afraid of the police? Demn, what's wrong with you!?" I did not know why he would possibly run away from a cop if he had done nothing wrong.

"I'm sorry boss, I f*cked up."

"You're still on drugs, right?" I suspected and pushed him away from me. "Get your filthy ass off here! You know what? Make sure she reaches home safely. You've fucked up today!" I roared out of rage and walked out to sit in my limousine.

My driver knew my routine and did not even bother to ask. He hated making mistakes and did not like to ask me more questions. He was the only one who did a ninety-eight percent and accurate job. He was fifty years and above and knew all corners of the planet as if he had a map in his black hat. Mr. Marvin was just an immaculate driver.

As I was relaxing at the back of the car and scrolling through some business documents, a call came.

On phone:

—-------

"Hello darling," the voice from the other side of the phone called.

"Hey, sweetheart. How have you been?" It was someone I loved dearly. I couldn't forget her voice although her number seemed new on my phone.

"Mm, I'm good, what's up with you out there?"

"I'm always ok whenever you are fine. What's up this evening, do you need money?" I asked. Her calls were unusual.

"Nope, not really. I just miss you and wanted to check up. I might come to New York for a workshop and I hope you don't mind if…"

"Come on girl…, it's a large place. My home is your comfort zone whenever you come here." I made it simple for her.

"Thank you, Matt, bye-bye."

End of call

------------

She just hung up after hearing what she needed to hear. After I laughed and dashed my phone into my pocket, I noticed my driver had opened the door signaling me to get down. I got down and tucked my shirt, and covered my eyes with my dark glasses. 'Yeah, the town runner is in the building.'

"Would you like to drink something, Mr. Marvin?" I offered humbly and showed him all my teeth in a well-designed smile.

"Thank you, Sir. I'm good. I'll be watching around." He managed to run away from my temptation.

This would have been his last drive if he had said "Yes,".

"Don't drink and drive, buddy." I laughed and walked away while he parked the limousine.

The bouncers did not even waste time opening the door.

"Would you need company, Sir?" One of them offered but I turned him down. I just wanted to be free. Besides, Antonio was watching. I laughed and got inside.

At the club:

-----------

'What the heck?' The club was full of busy dancing bodies. This wasn't likely of this club. I watched around and realized there have been some facelifts that were captivating. I imagined how I would pass through them to the counter where I liked to sit most often. Since I did not want to get wet with their sweat, I walked upstairs and rested on the sofa at the VIP's center. Within a few seconds, a hot bartender walked up to me.

"What may I offer you, Sir?"

"Five shots of tequila and two bottles of Hennessy," I ordered for my favorite drinks.

She stood there and skimmed my face for a while. I believed she was shocked about my order or seeing me around. "Oh, and a bottle of Viva vodka," I added. 'Viva vodka is the most expensive drink in the club.'

"You should be Matt, the billionaire!?" She concluded my order.

"You are new here, ay?"

She nodded and ran to fetch my drink. When she was returning, a gentle young guy followed her.

"Sir, I'm so sorry. We've made a special place for you, not here at the VIP but I hope you would like it." The male bartender offered and led the way.

I stood up, picked a glass of tequila, and followed them.

"You can even spend the night here, Sir."

He took me to one of their exclusive rooms on the third floor. Dancing was not my thing so I was very much pleased with the offer. In the room, I didn't hear any noise but on the aisle, I heard music bumming loudly.

"Hold on, why today?"

"Yeah, we didn't know you were Matt the billionaire. Our manager figured it out while checking the sales and arranged this place for you only. We hope you like it, Sir?"

"Oh yeah, it's kinda cool, thanks. You can leave now." I wasn't afraid since I knew Antonio was at work. I walked into the room, lay on the large bed, stood up, did all necessary inspections, and came back to my drinks. 'That female bartender was hot. I wished to f*uck her,' thoughts run through my mind as I keep drinking and drinking.

After mixing the last tequila with some drops of viva vodka, I walked out to stand on the aisle to watch those dancing bodies while I sip my burning drink. I raised my head and saw a beautiful woman dressed in a red stray dress. Her dress displayed almost every part of her breast. She was hotter than the bartender though but her face was covered with a mask.

"Hey handsome, would you need me to read you a bedtime story?" She flirted and walked straight to me. At last, I had someone better than the bartender to quench my sexual thirst.

"What good stories have you got, baby?" I faced and asked her seductively. My dick was already forcing itself out of my pants.

She walked closer, took the glass off my hand, and poured the last shot into her mouth to flow down her throat.

"Mm, my story is actually better than this, handsome."

She rushed in to kiss me. I did not resist. I kissed her back and directed her to the room. She leaned me against the wall, unzipped my pants, and took my dick from it. Swiftly, she swung it into her jaws but something weird ran over my head as Kate's face came into mind.

"Hold on, take off the mask, and let's start," I suggested but she refused so I forced and took it out of her face.

"Why did you do that, Matt Coleman?" She disappointedly mentioned my full name while she had my dick in her hand.

Seeing her face and noticing who she was, I retreated my erect dick and forced it back into my pants but she begged.

"I love you Matt, please just once."
