"Have you finished reading the books, babe?" Daniel asked, and Amira reddened as Daniel asked that question.
She gulped and closes her eyes hard, evidently distressed by what she has just witnessed.
"How am I meant to read the pages that are torn?" Daniel could hear the sarcasm in Amira's voice when she answered. "All of the best books that you gave me earlier are significantly thicker. Isn't there a summary of your historical background available at your local library?"
