Chapter 4

“Calm down, Amira. You were just dreaming up last night…” Amira whispered repeatedly in front of her mirror.

“No one will notice, ok? Only you can know about this, so calmed down,” she whispered to herself again.

As the sun peeked out, the birds were humming outside as well. Amira is a bit lethargic now. She didn't sleep well last night, it can see it in her eye bags, probably from what she saw yesterday. Fear and nervousness, that's all that bothered her.

When Amira put red lipstick on her lips, she didn't think it would suit her.

“Shocks! Is this really me? Why am I beautiful?”

She tried to change that dangerous aura in her mind and replaced it with something she knew would improve her vibes.

She learned that only she could help her, so she would not let the negative aura swallow her.

The red clock on the gold bookshelf next to the bed where Daniel was lying continued to blink and ring.

Daniel removed the thick golden blanket from his body. He sighed as he scratched his eyes.

“Ugh, why does my sleep so good?” he whispered softly to himself.

He looked around the large room. He seemed to be in a palace. His room was wide, and he could see the shine of them. From cabinets, chairs, sofas, ceilings, and chandeliers, everything is color gold and red.

After he got up and rinsed, when he came out of the bathroom, he heard the knocked by his butler.

He scratched his head and looked at the clock.

“It's still morning, isn't?” He immediately asked when the butler entered. “What's up, old man?”

The butler pulled out a small white notebook. “You have to go somewhere today, Young Master.” He adjusted his eyeglasses and faced Daniel. “You have an urgent meeting with the elders.”

Daniel couldn't help but flop onto the soft bed. He took the pillow and covered his face. He rested deeply and calmed himself.

Right after that, but he removed the pillow and turned to the butler.

“Can you please tell them that I'm busy?” There was a mixture of irritation when he said that. “I need to take care of something.”

“We cannot refuse the elders, Young Master,” the butler replied simply. “Your parents might scold you—.”

“I'm the alpha, aren't I?” Daniel immediately asked, a reason why the butler couldn't continue what he was going to say. “What's the sense of me being alpha if they can't follow my orders?”

“They were directed to the alpha leader, Young Master. Then they still have access to Madam Asteria, your mother.”

“To Marcus?” He laughed at the question. “They're crazy, eh. I'm Marcus' best friend, and then they'll scare me?”

He got up and got dressed. He thought of the mischievous scenes in his mind again.

A few minutes also passed before they left Daniel's room. A very long corridor opened up to them. And at every step they made, they pass paintings by well-known artists. As he stepped on his black shoes on the red carpet, the maids, and servants bowed to him.

“Good morning, Young Master.”

That's what you can hear in the hallway he's walking.

Until they stopped at the red door. The butler opened it and the elders showed up to them. That of the five of them, including the eldest daughter the elder's leader. They were all sitting on golden chairs.

“It's good that you came, young master …” The old man greeted him.

Now that they are 50+, you can see that in their white hair. And they were all wearing white clothes.

“Good morning, love,” greeted a woman, Alex. “How are you? Did you sleep well?”

She wrapped her hand around Daniel's big arm. But annoyed, Daniel removed it and stared at him wickedly.

“Don't ruin my morning, Alex,” he threatened her. “I'm not happy with you being here.”

Daniel pulled the chair closer to him. When he sat down, he immediately asked.

“Why did you call a meeting?”

The elders immediately sat down.

“It's been a week ago, young master,” the leader replied. “We can't wait for you to introduce the Luna. We can't have Luna. Only our region doesn't have Luna.”

Daniel just nodded. “Then?”

The leader cannot help but be annoyed.

“You need a companion to handle region 2, young master.”

“And your daughter deserves it?” he immediately asked. “You're too rascal to think, Rony.”

Daniel stood up and faced them. “Give me a month,” he insisted. “If I don't face you in a month, Abara will be your alpha.”

After he said that, he immediately left the room. The elders were left speechless by his insult. But they could do nothing because it had already uttered the word. One month. They will only have to wait a month.

When Daniel came out, he met Abara there. Abara is the beta of region 2. He was even surprised and looked at his watch.

“Is the meeting over?” Abara asked Daniel.

“There's no meeting,” Daniel joked. “Take a break, Abara. I know you're tired of patrolling earlier.”

He tapped it on the shoulder before he passed.

When he entered the room, the phone immediately rang in his room.

He answered it immediately and almost gasped when he heard his mother's voice.

“What's your plan in your life, Daniel?” rude question of the mother. “What is it that we heard that you insulted the elders again?”

“I didn't insult them,” he replied simply. “I just asked them to wait a month.”

“What's the matter, and you want to offend Rony's eldest daughter? It's as if that bitch won't pest me anymore? I'm happy here at the center, son, make a way.”

Daniel just scratched his head. He sighed. There is nothing he can do when his mother is being like this.

“Yes, mama. I'll take care of it.”

After that call, when the clock was seven o'clock in the evening, he got dressed again and went to the other side of the border.

This time he transformed into a wolf. His gray furs are immediately noticeable in the dark forest. Unlike yesterday, he only got to the flat road quickly.

He immediately looked for the clothes he had hidden this afternoon. He landed it on the third tree near a pole where there was a big warning to slow down while driving.

As he regained his form, the moonlight touched his muscular body. He immediately got dressed and walked down the road again.

Daniel had no other desire but to find a woman who could grab his attention.

But as he walked and kept looking, he did not realize where he was.

“Fuck, where am I?”

He looked around and saw some shops. There are no human beings here. He saw no pedestrians. But when Daniel looked around at an open convenience store, he couldn't help but stop and close his eyes a few times.

He saw from the distance the familiar woman, wearing a green apron and hat.

“Is she the woman who ran last night?” Daniel whispered to himself. He grabbed his chin.

“She's beautiful, it's ok for me.” He looked up for a moment and turned back to the woman again. “He looks modest too, it's ok for mama. Then she looks more polite, that's definitely ok for the elders.”

He nodded at the thought. He laughed softly because it looked like he wouldn't take another month to search.

Furthermore, he walked towards her. It was also good because his throat was also itchy, thirsty. But when he got the pocket, he felt no money there. He only got his gold watch.

He stared at it. “Looks like it can be paid for, doesn't it?”

When he opened the door, he could see the look-up of Amira, who was now busy counting money.

And as the burly Daniel continued to walk, Amira gradually realized who was already in front of her.

She unconsciously dropped the money. “W -why are you here?” she stuttered. “W -we're going to close!”

Daniel immediately spoke. “Just wait!” He restrained. He was to touch his throat. “Let me buy some water first, oh. I've been thirsty.”

“We don't have bottled water anymore, sir. Just buy it from someone else.”

Amira averted her eyes, pretending not to face him. But Daniel did not budge and looked around. He went to what he saw on the side of the store.

“Here!” He pointed when the refrigerator was opened. “The quantity is still large, then you say you don't have?”

Amira was devastated by Daniel's words. She did not know what to say. Only fear is working in her chest. She reminded herself and thought again that she was just having a dream last night.

It was impossible that the talkative strong man in front of her was a werewolf … like her.

And she almost shocked when she realized that the man had been waving his hand in front of her.

“Are you dehydrated?” Daniel asked. “Maybe you want water too?”

Amira stopped when she saw that the bottle was only half full.

“You haven't paid yet, ah!” she immediately shouted. “Why did you open that? You haven't paid yet!”

Daniel scratched his head. Amira could see the carving of his strained smile.

“I left my wallet behind—.”

“Why, that's not possible. If you don't pay, I might call you to the police. So just leave now -.”

“I'll pay.” Daniel picked up the watch. He handed it to Amira. “There, that's my pay. You're too high blood there.”

Daniel was shocked to see how Amira checked the watch. “Hey, that's real!”

Amira just nodded. “Yeah, really …”

“I still have a lot like that. If you want to, marry me now, so I can give it to you right away?”

Unexpectedly, Amira threw the watch she was holding in the face of a so -called “fastest and agile alpha of region 2” …
