Chapter 5

As the sun rise, with birds chirping and cars honking from outside, Amira continued to face the large mirror.

She has just finished changing her wolf form, and is currently dressing for her arrival into her work.

“It's a miracle that Lora didn't scold me today, haha,” she whispered to herself before combing.

She put on lipstick. Turned around, took the bag before slung it over her shoulder. Fortunately, Lora didn't wake her up today. She was awake so well that she seemed to have won a contest.

But when she got out of her unit, Amira's smiling lips disappeared.

A man with thick glasses, old-fashioned clothes and with a small pimple on his cheek appeared to her. His hands are placed behind his back.

“G -good morning, Amira,” the man greeted. He looked in the other direction before raising his hand.

There, Amira saw a rose. The young man's hand trembled before it finally landed in front of Amira.

“R -rose for you,” he stammered.

Amira accepted that with a look of wonder on her face. She knew that this man wanted her, but she didn't know why his face was so red that he seemed to be eating a lot of chili because of the redness.

When Amira received the rose, the young man spoke again.

“A -are you a rose?”

Amira's eyebrows furrowed.

“Why?”

“B -because you're thorny and hurtful, but you're still beautiful …”

Amira didn't know what to say. She is confused. She even asked herself if this man has eaten or has gone hungry.

“Hahaha, thank you for your rose, Wilbert,” Amira replied. She tapped Wilbert on the shoulder and smiled. “Next time you eat breakfast, ok. I'll report you to Ma'am Lora, if you skipped.”

The young man Wilbert sighed. At the age of 20, he is very shy and does not know how to express himself to others because he got used to it at home, the eating-computer-sleeping type is his daily routine.

“I- I just want you to know that you're beautiful.” He adjusted his glasses.

Amira was a little surprised, she didn't expect Wilbert to say that.

“You too, Wilbert!” Amira replied. “If you'll just have the confidence and fix yourself, you'll definitely be even more handsome!”

Wilbert was shocked, he didn't expect Amira to say that. Amira was the only one who let him out of his house. Amira is the reason he tries to be strong. He knows it's impossible for Amira to like him, but he doesn't give up and still does everything. She is his first love, she is her first crush since he became curious to the world.

“I- i l -let you go, Amira.” Again, Wilbert still couldn't stare into Amira's eyes. “N -next time we meet, I'll be even more handsome.”

To Amira's surprise, Wilbert immediately turned around. Wilbert immediately went to their home, determined to change and leave the old-fashioned self.

“Gosh, if I was just a little of age, maybe, I might have been shaking because of his sweetness,” Amira whispered and sniffed the rose. “It's smells good. He must have gotten it in their yard. If Ma'am Lora sees me holding it, she might accuse me, haha.”

Amira did not throw away the rose and walked towards the bus board. She held it until she could sit at the very end of the bus.

After she paid, she immediately closed her eyes to feel the air.

This is one of her favorite things to do every time she travels. To closed her eyes and be at peace of mind.

After a few minutes of traveling, the bus stopped at the corner of her workplace. She got off the bus and went to the convenience store where she worked.

Cold, freezing. The sun was touching her white skin, but they didn't seem to have any effect on her.

As she passed the nearby stores, she gradually saw a man. Standing on the side, seemed to be waiting for someone.

Immediately, her forehead furrowed. She opened her bag and looked for the key. And when she got it, she immediately took it out.

When the man turned around, Amira immediately saw his familiar face. The man, on the other hand, was immediately startled. His eyes widened and immediately went to Amira.

“Why are you late at your work?” Daniel asked immediately. “I've been waiting for hours for this store to open.”

Amira passed Daniel. She checked the lock and slowly raised the barrier.

“It's early in the morning, why are you here?” Amira asked when the door opened. “We're not open yet. Stay there.”

Daniel were left at the door. He sighed and thought…

“Ah, maybe she'll clean up,” he whispered when Amira got inside. “Anyway, I'll just wait for someone to come in.”

When Amira entered the store, when she dropped the bag on the floor, she was a little surprised when she looked back at Daniel outside.

“What's up this morning and men have brain problems?”

He wonders why Daniel doesn’t come in. Seconds, minutes, and hours passed. Daniel didn't think that the convenience store was not popular, he did nothing but wait.

Annoyed, Amira put down the ball pen she was holding. She went outside, to the place where Daniel was standing.

Daniel was surprised because of the sudden open of the door. He immediately saw Amira's wrinkled face, as if she had seen something annoying.

“What did you eat and are you still there?” Amira asked. “Aren't you coming in yet? You might be mistaken for being a statue.”

Daniel scratched his head and smiled. “Hehehe, I'm sorry. I thought you were going to clean up the whole store, so I didn't go in.” He turned inside and looked back at Amira. “Is it okay to enter now? I've been hungry before.”

Amira took a deep breath. She tries to calm herself down.

“It's cold now, but why is my blood hot on you?” Amira asked before turning around and going back to the counter.

“You're burning with anger again,” Daniel replied before following Amira. “I told you, you were dehydrated, miss.”

Upon entering, Daniel immediately grabbed a cup of noodles. He went back to the counter and handed over the cup noodles.

“49,” said Amira. “Just coins, mister. You're the first costumer, so be respectful.”

Daniel scratched his head. “I left my wallet behind,” he laughed before taking off the watch and handing it to Amira. “Is it ok for me to pay using my watch again?”

“What will I change to your watch? Those screws with?” Amira asked.

When she saw that Daniel really had nothing to pay, she grabbed the bag and took the money.

“I'll pay for it. After all, yesterday was real gold.”

“Wow, you're like a tiger, but you're kind though,” Daniel's answer, astonishing.

Looks like Amira is right. Her suspicion was far away, based on Daniel's attitude. How can a noisy man be a werewolf? It's funny, but all werewolf are serious, that what she thought.

“Daniel,” Daniel said as he waited for the cup noodles to cook. “My name is Daniel. What's your name? I already asked yesterday, but you feel it would be better not to say it. Does your name terrible?”

Amira would have answered when George arrived.

“Amira!”

They both turned to the old man who has now carrying a lot of money on his hands.

“It's true that you were paid gold by the customer last night,” he added when he got to the counter. “We can close early because of that!”

Amira stopped for a moment. “Don't tell me you're going to fire me, boss?”

He would have answered when he saw the unfamiliar man on the side.

“Oh, who are you? It's my first time seeing you here.”

Daniel scratched his head. “Daniel, sir,” he replied.

“He's the one who paid using the watch last night, boss.”

George was shocked. His eyes widened and he looked at Daniel again.

“A -are you for real?” he asked. “Why, why did you only order cup noodles? Add more, get everything you want, ok? Get everything and don't pay me.”

When Amira heard what her boss said, she remembered what Daniel had said last night. The words that make her night uncomfortable. The words make her body romantically excited.

“I still have a lot like that. If you want to, marry me now, so I can give it to you right away?”
