Alexi would not pass out; she took the vines from a bush and tied the nurse to the tree with them using magic. Grabbed the syringe and injected the nurse with the remains of the syringe used on Alexi. ... Alexi sent Nicolas a mind link. I decided enough was enough. It was time for her to stop playing the victim. Prior to passing out, she told Nicolas where she was in the mind link.
Alexi's location was all Nicolas got from her, despite calling the pack doctors and sending pack guards to where she was. Her mind link then suddenly went dead. He could tell just from the tone of Alexi's voice that she was not okay.
