CHAPTER 7— AN HEIR

Even through the pain, Kiara had ended up falling asleep and now that her eyes were fully open, she could see that the sunlight had made it pass the curtains and was shining on the floors of the room.

Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes, her naked body on full display but only the eyes of the walls could see. The nakedness did not bother her, she was used to it, down in the dungeon, she had slept naked a lot of times. She only got clothes when the person who brought her food, brought her clothes along with it and she had to re-wear them until they became torn and dirty.

But she was grateful, to those who brought her food and to those who brought her clothes...even if they were already old.

With a groan, she rose to her feet, just now realizing that the pain and the endless heat from last night was gone. Her skin wasn’t burning anymore and neither was her insides, her body didn’t feel weird and sensitive, and down there wasn’t aching anymore.
