Chapter 1

Before we get down into the story we need to know our characters first. Let's go some hours away before Rain had fallen off the cliff by her friends in the pack.

Everything exists in this world just like magic and witches, along with werewolves humans, and also hunters who are also human but hunts werewolves by regarding them as dangerous species. 

Yes, anything is possible if you just believe it. Just like Rain, who lives in the village of Ravenwood. 

Today is just like a usual day. Rain is now gathering woods in the forest of Ravenwood. This is her duty as she lives in the house a little bit away from there with her friend Bella who takes care of everything else for her. 

The rain had lost her parents when she was little. They were killed by some dire wolves. She also had a twin brother. She had her vision back then. After they were killed the moon goddess out of pity gave Rain her blessings when she managed to shift into a human by herself. 

Since then Rain had become blind. The moon goddess had set a condition for her. She had never told anyone about it, this is a secret she's keeping all to herself. 

Rain is a woman with a short height around five feet barely making it. She has light blond hair with pearl-like greenish eyes. Her hair is quite long up to her back, with beautiful curls. 

Today she had worn a one-piece dress with boots up to her knee. She was gathering the woods one by one. It was then she heard a noise from behind. It was the sound of someone stepping closer to her. 

She was alarmed by the sound. When it had reached too closer she gets up from the place and tries to attack that person with a tree branch in her hand. '' Who's it? State yourself?'' she shouts trying to attack the person there.

That person clicked his tongue. Then replied, '' Relax, Rain, It's none other than me, Walden.'' Rain was able to distinguish him right away. So she threw the branch away. '' What are you here for Walden? Isn't Grace with you?'' Rain asked in a reluctant tone. 

'' Come on she's not going to be with me all the time will just because she's my mate. Will she ?'' Walden retorted while approaching her. Then there was another sound of footsteps. Walden looked at the person behind him. 

'' Rain look Loki is joining us too. When did you come here?'' asked Walden pointing at the man coming from the other direction of the forest. '' Just now, I thought about seeing you but you are here. What's up?'' asked Loki walking up to Walden. 

Walden sneered to Loki. Rin had let her guard down as she knew them. They both were now on each side of Rain. She was about to continue picking up the woods but then the comments from Loki stopped her in the place. 

'' Rain, your hands are hurt where did you get this injury from?'' Loki remarks touching her hand. She was trying to get away from his hands. '' It's nothing. Just a scratch,'' she asserts trying to go away from his grip. 

'' You should take care of yourself you know,'' Walden comments gripping hold of her shoulders. Rain was feeling uncomfortable about all of this now. '' I think I should go now. I am done picking up woods,'' Rain says trying to run away from there. 

 '' Where do you think you are going? You have to entertain us for some more longer,'' Loki said with a hiss gripping hold of her by the stomach. Rain was alarmed now she could feel danger coming her way they are up to no good again. 

She knew she has to run away from here just this moment. '' Don't you think you are overusing your powers as a beta?'' shouts Rain in an attempt to ward them off from her. '' Huh? We are of a higher rank than you Omega. We can do whatever we want to you,'' Walden said with a snicker. 

'' No one gave you the power to do that. You are overusing your authority,'' shouts Rain trying to kick them so they will let go of her. '' We have all the power we need. If you try to go against us then we will report to the Alpha so he will kick you out of the pack,'' hissed Loki touching her face making her look at him. 

Hearing that Rain's body went all tensed up now. The only thing that she doesn't want is to go away from the pack no matter how much humiliation she has to bear. Because of her friend Bella who's her whole family. If she has to go away leaving her behind there's no way she will be able to survive. 

'' Hey, she seems to have taken your threats. I think now she's going to comply with our requests,'' Walden said being amused by all of this. '' Now to please us take your clothes off. Then our fun will begin,'' Loki whispered in her ears. 

She gasped for a moment hearing that. They are going to take advantage of her situation. Who's going to save her now? No one comes to the forest only except her. Bella is at home how will she come here to save her? Can she even do something against them? After all, they are both Betas. 

Rain was not going to do what they said. She stood still to her position. This irritated them both. '' Hey, are you deaf also?'' shouts Loki trying to tear her clothes apart. '' No,'' she shouts in an attempt to stop them. 

Walden held onto her hands as Loki was trying to tear her clothes off. She could feel that she was in danger now. At the top of her lungs she shouts,'' No.'' 

But those brutes were not going to stop anytime soon. It was when they were about to tear everything off of her body some people came to her rescue. '' What are you both doing to her?'' asked Grace arriving there on the spot with Hazel. 

Grace is the mate of Loki and Hazel is the mate of Walden. 

Seeing them both Beta's stopped what they were doing. '' Listen, Hazel, this Rain was trying to seduce us by calling us to this forest where anyone hardly come,'' Walden begins to say trying to blame the girl who was feeling violated by them. 

'' Yeah, he's right. Rain called me here too. Or else why would I come here?'' Loki added walking away from Rain. She could not believe what they were saying about her. All the allegations about her were false they were making up rumors for nothing. 

Both Grace and Hazel believed their words. '' Why did you called them here Rain? I can't believe you will go this low just because you have a mate,'' remarks grace giving a disgusted look at her. 

'' No I am-'' Rain was not able to say anything in her defense. '' You are a whore Rain, how can you do that to my mate,'' Hazel shouts walking up to Rain. '' You disgust me,'' saying this she slaps Rain in the face. 

'' Let's go everyone,'' Grace says to everyone there. They walk away before Rain could say anything in her defense. What was her fault here? She did nothing then why was she blamed for everything? 

For how long is this torture going to continue? Isn't there anyone out there who will end her endless torture and suffering? When will she be able to feel relieved from this? She fell hugging onto her knees she was crying by herself all alone. 

But tears were not coming out of her eyes as she was used to these all day. She was always bullied in the pack as she was of lower rank Omega. Bella was the same so they had to always obey the Alpha's order. 

Rain always tried to keep a low profile but because of her beautiful and graceful look, she always attracted the attention of other older men in her pack. As a result, she has made an enemy of all the females there. 

As a result, they will always humiliate her and bully her. She was used to them but still, she wanted to run away from there but she will never be able to do so as Bella can't run away from there so can't she. They are forced to stay here because if they go out of the village then the Wolve hunters will kill them. That's what the Alpha had said to them.

In a while, she calms herself down then gathers the remaining woods and leaves towards her home. It was a small hut made with woods and all where they lived. The rain opens the door saying,'' I am home.'' 

Then all of a sudden someone comes running towards her embracing her tightly. '' Are you alright?'' asks the voice in a frantic tone. It was none other than Bella her best friend. 

'' Yes, I am but what's wrong? You sound quite worried,'' Rain asked she could feel that Bella's breathing had fastened. She was panting and trembling too. 

Then Bella pulled away. She took the basket full of woods in her hands from Rain. '' Come inside first then I will say about it,'' says Bella taking her friend inside the house. 

After a while, They both sit together. The month was around February so it was a little cold. Bella used the woods to light up the whole roomy burning them. It felt quite warm to Rain as a result. 

Bella hands Rain some hot cocoa which could be found in the village at a low price. '' Not much is left now,'' she says to Rain. '' We have used up all the resources. How will we go on now? '' Rain asked looking downwards. 

Bella smiled at her then pat her in the head. ''Don't worry, we will manage somehow. I am with you, right? Don't worry, you can leave everything up to me. We both will take care of everything just like before,'' Bella puts their foreheads touching each other. 

Yes, Rain knew that as long as Bella is with her nothing can touch her. She will do everything she can to protect her. That's why she can't tell Bella about what happened to her some while ago. 

It was around mid-afternoon now. It was then Rain was sitting beside the window staring at the sky as the cold wind was brushing past her cheeks. Then Bella came up to her and asked,'' What do you want to eat for lunch?''. 

Rain looked at her and said,'' Soup with herbs.'' '' Alright then,'' when Bella was about to turn away she noticed the scar on her face. She came closer to her then touched her face. '' What are you doing?'' Rain asked as she could feel Bella was staring at her face intently. 

'' This scar, who gave it to you? Is this from the forest?'' Bella asked with a serious tone. '' No, it's nothing don't worry. I fell down and thus this scar. Don't worry. Rather than this makes the lunch I am hungry,'' Rain was trying to hide the matter under the rug. 

'' This is the scar of a slap. I know this, who did this to you again? Is this done by them?'' Bella was hinting at Grace. 

'' No Bella listen-''. '' I am not going to forgive them at all, I have to punish them or they will keep doing this to us. We have to stand up to them. Let's go Rain,'' Bella says to her friend. 

When she was about to leave the place Rain holds her down by the hand. Bella looks at her friend. She was about to burst out in tears. '' Don't do this, you know we can't stand up to them,'' Rain says staring at her. She could understand what would be Bella's expression like. 

'' As long as we have to live we have to go along with this treatment. Rather than this weren't you going to say something to me when I came back from the woods? Tell me about it,'' Rain insisted putting a forced smile on her lips. 

'' This is not the right thing you always try to hide it under the rug. It's not good,'' Bella complains with a sigh. '' Well, the thing is some kind of a danger is heading our way," when Bella said that her face went pale.
