Chapter 20

‘’ W-what’s happening?’’ Rain couldn’t grasp a hold of the things which were happening around her.

‘’ Odin! Odin!’’ she called for numerous times. But there was no reply.

She touched his back, and was able to feel the arrow which stuck to his back.

‘’ Is this…..an arrow? I’ll get this out right away,’’ Rain pulled it out with all of her strength and threw it away.

But that caused the wound to start bleeding. She touched the wound again only to get her fingers stained with his blood.

In a minute they were lying in a pool of blood. 

The smell of copper filled her nostrils. She recognized the smell right away. It was the smell of blood which she had felt when her parents were slaughtered by a rogue pack.

The same feeling is coming back to her once again.
