PRINCE Ciaran knew there's something off with the woman before them. She was not the real thing, he knew that. But he couldn't recognize what that was.
"You're Mai Lou, the spider elf," Neptos declared.
A snort was heard from Neptos' side and all eyes turned to the young brunette who was trying to hold back her laughter. "A spider elf?"
Mai Lou frowned at her. "What's wrong about that?" she asked, curiosity laced in her voice.
Chloe couldn't help herself but laugh. Theo and Neptos stared at her in disbelief while Ciaran was amused by her reaction. No one would dare laugh in front of their enemy, when a fight could ensue anytime.
Mai flipped her long raven hair and smirked at Chloe. "I am the only one left in my kind."
They felt the wind pick up. Chloe and the others, even Mai and her shadows, had to brace themselves from getting thrown put somewhere. When the wind slowed down, they opened their eyes. Chloe's young face split into a large grin.
