Mister couldn't believe what he had just heard. Did she just say that she was ready to marry him?? Mister was ecstatic on the inside for some reason, but that reason was unknown to him. He sat forward in his chair a bit and tried to listen without disturbing the scene. Everyone noticed his anxiety, but no one said anything.
Pearl handed Della a nice cold glass of ice water with a sweet smile on her face. "Thank you," Della said hoarsely with a smile on her face as well. Mister couldn't believe the difference in her behavior. It was like night and day from the last time Della had been awake. She was wild and angry the last time he saw her. She looked over at him and remembered kicking him. She suddenly felt so bad, so she dropped her eyes to the glass in her hand.

The scene was so perfectly set for the girls to arrive that they all forgot about the mission for a while. There was a band of very small people with white blonde hair and very pale skin. They had large, beautifully slanted eyes and the same cute ears that Becky had. In fact, Becky could be their bigger cousin or something. The band was assembled underneath of one of the lighted trees. They were playing a light, mellow tune on some very strange looking instruments. It was a mesmerizing scene. Della's heart sank when she heard what the old queen was requesting. She was not at all prepared to have this conversation with her mother at the moment and she really didn't think that anyone else knew about it. Joy stepped forward to save face for her daughter. She took Della in her arms and said, "Baby, whatever it is, I love you. I will never leave you again. Please believe me." Della and Joy both started crying. Mister went back the castle and he walked in to a total disaster. It was just a disgusting mess. There was unfinished party decorations and dead sprites everywhere. He went back to his rooms and called Zeek's phone but he got no answer. "Shit!" Mister shouted as he threw the phone on his bed and went to change his clothes. He came back to the phone and tried again. This time the phone was answered but it seemed to be accidental because he could hear Hallie laughing in the background and saying, "let his punk ass figure it out for himself this time."
