We arrived at a cave, made of rocks and sand. Its width was almost half of the shadow pack house, looking like a completely different pack on its own. I looked around with only my eyes, trying not to tilt my head and trigger the shock collar grasped around my neck.

Throughout the journey that lasted until the sun went down, wolfsbane was constantly shoved into me, to prevent me from regaining even a little strength. Ava was drained of strength and I was barely holding on.

My body was weak but my eyes remained open, I refused to shut down completely. Lazily I rolled my eyes ahead of me as the carriage came to a halt, my hands buried into my thigh.

Save for the building standing before us, the area seemed like a desert.
