Serves him right

Aurelio kept down his phone after making the call. He could sense how expectant his grandpa was and how curious he was.

A smile appeared on his face, he could imagine their reaction to when they find out he has successfully gotten a woman like Erica pregnant.

Rowan then stepped out and bowed lowly at Aurelio.

“Where is he?” Aurelio asked him.

“The warehouse Sir” he replied and took Aurelio with him down the foyer.

They walked together out of the mansion and went to the custom warehouse behind the building.

The warehouse isn’t what it actually sounds as, it’s a place for punishment.

“He is still unconscious but all things are prepared” Rowan replied as they got to the warehouse and then he pushed the big metal door open.

Aurelio stood by the entrance and could see Rolph from afar.

A side smile plastered on his face as he took slow steps in and could see Rolph in the middle of the warehouse.

The warehouse is extra large, was almost empty expect that few cartons were around and few guns around hanging on the wall. But they were all pistols, silence pistols and a shotgun that Aurelio had no right to use yet.

Rolph was seated on a metal chair with his hands above his head locked in a tight shackles chain that were separating his hands from each other.

And around his legs were a dungeon ball with a leg shackels chain making it almost impossible for him to take steps further.

Aurelio then took closer steps to him and sat down right Before him. Rolph head was still low “Looks like your punch sent him to deep sleep” he said to Rowan.

“I’m happy it did” Rowan replied with a side smile.

“Wake him up” Aurelio ordered and then the men around came with a bucket of cold water over his head.

Rolph shook immediately regaining consciousness, he gasped aloud and shook his head vigorously. Looking down at the ground, he could see his legs were being chained and he could feel something strong and tight around his wrist.

Rolph tried to bring his hands closer to his face but he couldn’t and then he thought of where he is.

“What happened?” everyone heard him say lowly and then he turned to left and could see Steve holding a bucket, turned to his right and saw Wilson standing with a trolley and beside him was Rowan.

He stared deeply and Rowan before he remembered the whole thing.

“You jerk!” Rolph groaned as he tried to get up from the seat just to find out he had a belly chain around him that were pinning him down to the chair.

“so now I am being locked in the warehouse huh?” he spat out

“Mr Aurelio saw it as the best place” Rowan replied

“ Mr—Mr Aurelio?” he stuttered as he slowly turned to see Aurelio seated before him with a smirk.

Rolph flinched back immediately blinking his eyes rapidly.

“ Are you surprised?” Aurelio asked him with a laugh

“ I will not waste my time here because I am not going to be one to handle you” Aurelio said to him clicking his tongue and reached for a small knife in the tray Wilson was holding.

“ No Mr Aurelio, you are misunderstanding everything, believe me it’s a misunderstanding” Rolph said to him already sweating.

“ Oh really, please explain maybe I could spare your life then” Aurelio shrugged

“ I am not working for Aryan!” Rolph said with a pleading face.

Aurelio laughed lowly and the rest of them did.

“Sir I need you to believe me, why will I work for him huh? He is your rival! I am your servant! Why should I??” Aryan asked trying to sound convincing

“ You weren’t?” Aurelio asked with an innocent look on his face. Aryan nodded his head vigorously

“ I wasn’t sir, do you have to lock me in shackles?” Rolph asked with a sigh

“ I wasn’t! that jerk Aryan had always been on my nerves so why should I work for him?” Rolph added

“ I did not know I would see him earlier, I didn’t intend to hurt Erica sir, not even you…he..he drugged me Sir” Aryan replied.

Aurelio clenched his jaws, Rolph was already making him burn in anger from his inside.

Aurelio leaned against his chair and snapped his fingers at Rowan.

Rowan then walked to him with a notebook in his hands and stood before Rolph.

“We went through your call logs and detected you’ve made several amounts of call with Aryan whom you know is our big time enemy” Rowan said to him.

Rolph was taken aback. How could he have forgotten who he is messing with?!

“ That, isn’t what it looks like belief me. Yes I was on a call with Aryan.. he kept bugging me!!” Rolph faked a cry

“ Really? Is he the cousin brother you said called you the other time?” Aurelio laughed as he sat up glaring into Rolph’s eyes.

“Move on” Aurelio said to Rowan.

Rowan then signaled Wilson with his head, Wilson then stepped further with a phone in his hands.

“Maybe you could explain your conversations then” Wilson replied and played the recorded Audio.

Rolph was the one talking;

“I want to see Aurelio crumble, he thinks he can have what he wants anytime”

“I was drunk!!” Rolph said out immediately and Aurelio laughed.

“Are you the one saying this Rolph? You know the consequences of if he finds out?” Aryan replied

“Who cares? I loathe him so much.. I can’t stand him nor everyone around him. I am in my right senses Aryan” Rolph replied and Aurelio raised his brows at him

“can you explain that?” he asked Rolph.

Rolph was speechless that he looked instead like a half dead creature.

“ He has gotten a lady pregnant and I think he has interest in her, we just have to attack before his parents finds out he accomplished his task” Rolph said

“ Sir i—” Rolph trailed off as Aurelio sent a heavy punch to his lips.

“You lie!!” Aurelio yelled at him and got up from his seat.

“And guess what? I would have left you to someone else to handle you but because you hurt Erica! I will not let you go free” Aurelio replied as he grabbed him by his collar and threw a punch at him again.

He stepped back and walked to the trolley picking a different type of knife.

“You had an idea of how I felt when I found out you were betraying us?” Aurelio asked him as he smiled at the knife and went around Rolph.

Rolph was already trembling in fear and sweating profusely.

He could not turn back a bit since he was chained down.

“I felt like I was physically stabbed from behind you jerk!!” Aurelio yelled at him as he grabbed him by his hair and sent the knife straight to Rolph’s back.

Rolph yelled out in pain immediately “And you kept denying it! You denied everything Rolph! That angers me the more” Aurelio replied as he slowly drove the knife into his back turning it in his skin like he was screw driving into something.

Rolph felt nothing but pain!

Agony!

Distress!!

“Sir… please..I’m sorry” Rolph managed to say.

Just then Rowan got a text from his phone and went to whisper to Aurelio’s ear.

“Okay then go” Aurelio replied him.

The gates went open slowly as a black Bentley flying spur drove in.

Mr Maynard and Mr Bertram were seated at the backseat. The car drove through the circular driveway that fell at the feet of Aurelio’s sumptuous Mansion and then the car pulled to a halt before the main entrance.

Rowan was already standing and waiting for them.

Two guards walked to the car and opened the car doors did Mr Maynard to step out and Mr Bertram to step out.

They walked out in their black suits and black shades on.

“Rowan” Aurelio Father said immediately he saw him. Rowan walked to them and Bowed his head “Welcome sir” he said and then raised his head back up.

Me Maynard gave him a smile then tucked his hands into his pocket.

“What’s going on?” he asked Rowan

“Where’s my son?” Mr Bertram asked

“Mr Aurelio is in the warehouse, so let’s go see what’s up there” Rowan replied

“Warehouse? You mean the warehouse?” Me Bertram asked him again

“What could he possibly be doing there? I thought the warehouse is for rats” He added

“This way please” Rowan gestured them to come with him and they sis following him behind.

“I really wonder the rat Aurelio is dealing with, I thought he doesn’t use the warehouse” His grandpa replied

“That rat really must have a taste of my anger” His father replied.

And few minutes later, they got to the entrance of the warehouse about to walk in further but then they both stopped hearing Aurelio’s loud voice.

He wasn't just loud, but they could sense anger in his tone.

“How dare you hurt my woman!! You weren’t just a betrayer but a coward!! And believe me, you will surely pay for your sins” Aurelio yelled as he used a baseball bat on Rolph head.

His father could see that and blinked his eyes swiftly

“Is that my son?” he gasped seeing the way Aurelio played Rolph’s head like a baseball.

“That. Is. My. GRANDSON” his grandpa smiled.

“You really want this guy to be brutal Father” Mr Bertram rolled his eyes and stepped in further.

Aurelio then went to pick a knife and crouched down looking at Rolph’s bleeding face.

“How does it feels huh?” he laughed and grabbed his face in his hand slowly making a cut on his cheek.

“you have this scar on your other face because you disobeyed my Father! I am giving you this one on your right cheek because you betrayed the family” Aurelio said to him while Rolph kept screaming in pain.

“it’s punishment!” Aurelio stepped back and slowly the chains holding Rolph pulled his hands more higher but he couldn’t go with it since he was chained to the chair.

He could only feel more pain around his wrists, Aurelio folded his hands and watched him yell out of pain.

“This is entertaining” Mr Maynard said with a side smile as he walked in further.

Everyone in the warehouse bowed their heads immediately at him and his Father.

“Father? Grandpa? Welcome!!” Aurelio said to them bowing too in greetings.

“What did this guy do?” His Father asked him staring at Rolph.

“He was a spy” Aurelio replied

“A what?!”

“He had secretly been working for Aryan, and not just that he raised his hands on Erica making her fall unconscious” Aurelio replied with anger.

His grandpa raised a brow at him.

“You mean the “ my woman” you were talking about?” he asked him

“Exactly!” Aurelio replied.

His grandpa looked at his father then back at Aurelio.

“I guess you accomplished your task” his grandpa smiled at him.

“ You know who I am don’t you?” Aurelio smiled

“I told you my grandson would be able to! He is a guy of success!!” His grandpa proudly said and turned to Rolph who was grasping for breath.

“I will be leaving them to you, I can’t stand such a creature like you. Besides I have other things to do” Aurelio said to Rolph’s face.

He slowly raised his head and the first eyes he met was Mr Maynard’s eyes.

Immediately his eyes went wide open as he shook on his chair.

“ No, no sir.. please you just handle me. Please” he pleaded with Aurelio

“ No my parents are the best…” Aurelio shook his head at him.

“Why don’t you handle him first, you already started with the first consequence, you should go on lemme see what you can do” his grandpa replied.

Aurelio looked at his father to see his reaction but instead his dad stretched his hands at Rolph.

“I want to see too” he replied.

Aurelio chuckled and nods his head “Real cool, okay then.. take off the belly chains” he ordered and then two men went to loosen Rolph up and immediately he went up but his legs couldn’t go further.

Aurelio walked to him and slowly cut his shirt with a scissors making Rolph chest naked and then he picked a whip handling it to Steve, and then he took another handling it to Wilson.

“You know and work with these men the most that is why they will be the one to treat your back, so next time.. in your next life, you would remain faithful to your boss and colleagues” Aurelio tapped Rolph’s shoulder then went to take a sharper knife.

“ whip him until you get tired” he said to them and went back to Rolph.

Rolph began to shake timorously seeing Aurelio taking the knife to his chest and at the same time feeling them behind his back.

“Its show time!” Aurelio smiled and cut his chest immediately while Steve sent a whip to his back and then Wilson.

His father tucked his hands into his pocket as he watched the beautiful scene.

“This isn’t just a view but it’s a lesson” he said

“ you know how much I hate betrayals” his grandpa said

Minutes later,

Aurelio had left the warehouse for them. He was going back to the mansion after leaving Rolph in the hands of his grandpa and Father. He is sure by tomorrow he would not even hear or smell Rolph anymore. Latest he should be gone by tonight.

As soon as he got into the mansion, the first person he saw was Mrs Davis.

“How is she?”

“She is still asleep but she would be fine, I left the room like 30 minutes ago” she replied.

“Okay then Thanks” he said to her and walked away making his way up to his room.

The maids around peeped at him and began to murmur.

“This is interesting, who could that be?”

“Did Mr Aurelio got into a fight? His hands are bloody” another said

“Shut up, go back to your duty post or you go to bed!” Mrs Davis said to them raising her small fan at them.

Aurelio went in to his room and could see Erica was still asleep. He took slow steps to his bed and wanted touch her but his hands were stained with blood.

“fvck!” he cussed beneath his breath and reluctantly went to the bathroom to wash his hands.

He looked at himself straight in the mirror and sighed.

“Why do I feel life now?” he smiled and couldn’t help but laugh lowly.

Aurelio then took a warm bath in no time and tied his bathrobes as he stepped out of the bathroom with a towel ruffling his hair.

Meanwhile,

Aryan had managed to get himself in his car and left without his men. He was driving on the highway but nearly couldn’t see anything.

His eyes were swollen and his face were hurting.

Just then he got a phone call and could see the caller was Rolph.

“Did they not go with you?” he thought and shakily picked up his phone to answer the call

“I thought they went with you” he said immediately

“yes we did, I can assure you he would be dead in no time” Rowan voice came up instead

“and yeah, we’ve got a gift for you, look at your back” Rowan said.

Aryan shakily turned to his back out of fear, his heart was beating so fast.

What could it be?

A bomb?

Or what?

He turned but then he saw nothing but only hear a loud horn from a trailer.

He could see flashlight from a vehicle and turned to his front just to see an incoming trailer horning and driving with full speed to him.

The next thought he had was to jump out of his car but that would be one crazy one.

He didn’t know what to do but instead gripped the steering wheels tightly in his hands and made a quick left turn.

He could hear his squealing tyre and the incoming vehicle Loud horn.

He was already seeing blurry and the next thing he heard was a loud thud!

The sound of his windows shattering into pieces.
