Theo POV

My head was spinning. My father had once again done the unthinkable. He was going to figure out a way to have Roni stay here. My hopes and dreams were once again ignited that I would at least have a place in her life for a small time.

I kept my pace steady as I searched for Rose. I had no plans to tell her of Roni’s pregnancy, but I did need to let her know of our trip. Part of me knows she is going to expect me to invite her, maybe I should, Roni seems to like her.

Rose can’t tolerate sunlight like I can, it would cause serious delays and issues if we were caught in the wrong situation. I am not willing to compromise Roni’s safety for anyone. I found Rose standing in the corner by the bookshelf in the library on her phone. She clicked it off as she heard me approach.

“Rose, I was looking for you.” I said confused at her actions.

“You did a good job, you found me.” She joked skipping past me.

“Turns out
