Chapter Fifteen

I heard a loud knock on the door, which caused me to wake up. I reach for my phone, and it is three in the morning. A panicky feeling starts possessing me, and I don't know what to do. Who can be in the office at three in the morning? Thank God I could manage to hide some of my weapons around here without Olivia noticing them. I reached under my desk, took my gun, and went to the door, trying to make my steps not be too loud. I slowly unlocked the door and got back, aiming at where I thought the person's head could be. The door bursts open, and I freeze.

It's Aiden, and he looks like hell. His hair is messy, and he is covered in blood. His face is covered in bruises.

''What the hell happened to you?'' I say with a worried voice.

"First, put the gun down,'' he says, pointing at it with his finger. ''Where did you even get a gun?'' I forgot about it. I put the gun on the table and went in front of Aiden.

''Where were you and what happened?'' I say "still" with a worried look on my face.
